Milla Jovovich praises the benefits of hiking during her pregnancy

The actress said her pregnancy weight gain would have been much higher without her daily hikes

Actress Milla Jovovich has credited daily 6-mile hikes for her not gaining extra weight during her pregnancy. 

Milla is pregnant with her second child with husband Paul W.S. Anderson, having daughter Ever together. 

She wrote on her Facebook page, which she has been using as a blog during her pregnancy: “I have to say, if I wasn’t hiking 5 1/2 to 6 miles every day, I think I would be 20 lbs. heavier than I am right now (185 lbs.) which is still reasonable for pregnancy gain.

“I’ve also gained quite a lot of water weight, so my feet felt like they were 10 lbs. a piece and I could hardly put my running shoes on! It all felt like one of those dreams where you’re running, but it feels like no matter how hard you try, you’re running through sand.

“It goes with out saying that with only 3 1/2 weeks to go before delivery, I’m getting kind of exhausted carrying all this extra weight around. Plus ask any pregnant lady and she’ll tell you that getting any sleep at this point is challenging to say the least!”

Milla has also been updating her Facebook page with lots of healthy recipes during her pregnancy.
