We’re used to seeing lithe models strutting their stuff at fashion week, so we were thrilled to see heavily pregnant Daphne Oz on the runway
Daphne Oz proved that you can look incredible modelling clothes while pregnant. The eight months’ pregnant presenter, 27, participated in the annual Heart Truth Red Dress Collection show at New York Fashion Week on Friday, showing how much pregnancy suits her.
Daphne, who’s the daughter of TV doctor Mehmet Oz of Oprah fame, modelled a semi-sheer lace Sarah Liller dress for the event, which benefits the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement and the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute.
And she obviously had a great time doing her bit.
The mum-to-be danced her way down the catwalk, doing something that isn’t the norm in fashion shows – smiling and laughing. Daphne wisely ditched the towering stilettos that we usually spot on the runway and wore chunky black ankle boots for a pregnancy friendly look.
Just like Gwen Stefani, Daphne recently celebrated her baby shower – which her sister posted the below pic of on Instagram.
