Maxi-Cosi Pebble and FamilyFix Base is a great car seat combination which features ISOFIX. The FamilyFix Base (for Pear and Pebble car seats) is not too heavy and is thus easy to install and release. It has a ‘3-light safety system’ that tells you whether the base has been securely fitted, which is an excellent product feature!
The Pebble car seat is lovely and light, and only takes a second to clip on and off the base. It’s comfortable with soft fabric that wipes clean. The straps adjust without much effort and the hidden sunshade is a great idea!
The seat-plus-base is bulky in a small car but the product is solid, and very sturdy. The chair is also quite plain and severe in design but these are minor points in the face of superior functionality. Both components are expensive but when you’re paying for safety how much is too much?
