Suitable from birth up to 13kg, this can be secured in three different ways – using your vehicle’s three-point seat belt, with a belted base and a support leg, or with an ISOFIX base and support leg.
It’s travel-system compatible with Mountain Buggy pushchair frames, and we like that it’s very light.
Tested by Fiona Hatcher, 33, mum to Jude, seven weeks. She says:
The most transportable seat we tested! It’s slimline, stylish-looking and light enough to carry comfortably.
The straps adjust easily enough, although my fingernails only just survived! Jude was well-supported in the newborn insert, and slept through a 90-minute car journey. The base is easy to fit, but the sunshade offers minimal coverage.
Tested by Vikki Slattery, 33, mum to Aidan, seven months. She says:
This one was initially impressive. The newborn insert is really lovely, but Aidan’s too big to use it, and without it there’s not much cushioning, so the seat looks a little bare and basic.
The base is really easy to install, but unfortunately the straps are so difficult to adjust that we didn’t feel confident using this seat – and I broke a nail!
Tested by Mahjabeen Brammall, 33, mum to Zahra, 12 months. She says:
The base is light and simple to install, and the car seat slots in out and of the base really easily – great when you’re in a rush.
The seat rattled around while I was driving, however, even though the light indicated it was correctly installed. Zahra looked squashed and could barely move her arms. Adjusting the straps was tricky too.
