What we say:

We found the Joie Spin 360 to be excellent quality, with a fantastic range of recline options, allowing you to recline your baby when sleeping. Of course, the 360-degree swivel feature makes life easier, and the extended reward facing option gave our panel of mum testers extra peace of mind.

What they say:

“The Joie Spin 360 is a combination car seat that allows your little one to travel rear-facing for longer (from birth to approx. four years). The seat spins 360° allowing you to change the position from rear to forward facing, as well as making it easier to place your child in and out of the seat.”

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would highly recommend this product to a friend and actually already have! It is worth every penny and of course, you can't put a price on safety. Although this car seat is quite heavy, instead of being a problem it reassured me that it was so well made.

How did this product make your life easier?

This product has made our life so much easier as we have a three-door car and it is amazing to be able to spin the seat round and fit baby in. The car seat is very padded and comfortable, so I'm happy for my little one to spend time in it while we travel around. It fits him so well and moulds to his body perfectly.

Would you choose this product to win?

I would choose this product above the rest as it grows with your baby – the head extends as your baby get taller and it is so padded and looks comfortable. I also love that you can choose different colours, allowing you to customise the car seat to suit your personal preferences. The only downside was that the seat doesn’t recline much, meaning my baby’s head falls forward when he’s sleeping.

What changes would you make to this product?

The one thing me and my husband noticed was that it was quite hard to reach the lever to spin the car seat round. Once reached, it was easy to use, but it was a tight squeeze getting there.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Yes, I would definitely recommend this to a fellow mu as it's very easy and quick to fit into the car and made life so much easier on the move. Most importantly, my son seemed very comfy in the car seat and I have had no moans or groans when getting him into it! It seems like a sturdy and strong seat and was very easy to keep clean. I love the design too.

How did this product make your life easier?

It makes my life so much easier as I am able to turn the car seat 360 degrees to fit my son inside. I find it so much easier now to get my son out of the car – if I have parked in a tight car parking space I don’t have to open the car door, I can just swivel him round! A real game changer!

Would you choose this product to win?

Yes, I definitely think this product should win a Mother & Baby award as it makes life so much easier when you have two children to bring in and out of the car. It is priced on the higher end of the spectrum, but I think it is worth the money to have your child safe and secure in a well-made car seat.

What changes would you make to this product?

If I could change one thing about this product, it would just be that it is quite hard to reach the levers to spin the seat. It would be great if you made them a bit bigger so they were easier to find.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend this to other mothers as it has made life much easier for me and my child. The design, which allows you to turn the child in the seat, means you don’t need to lean into the car, often in awkward positions, to access your little one. I would also highly praise the safety and comfort of the seat.

How did this product make your life easier?

I absolutely love this car seat – it has made quick stops in and out of shops so much easier. My son looks both comfortable and happy when seated in it, which ultimately makes my life easier. As a sufferer of rheumatoid arthritis, I had issues with a different car seat, due to having to lean into the car to pick up my son and fasten the harness. This seat is much better for me.

Would you choose this product to win?

I would absolutely choose this car seat over other leading car seats. The product has, in my opinion, met and achieved the highest standards in all respects. The design, safety, comfort, and benefits to any mother are evident, hence it deserves the highest possible score that can be given.

What changes would you make to this product?

Although I feel this product is the best option available on the market today, the only small downside is that the cushion covers are not easily removable. For a car seat to support a child up to the age of four years old, there is every likelihood that the covers will need to be washed, so this could be easier.

Tested by mum Catherine Duffy for the Mother & Baby awards 2018:

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend this product to all of my expectant friends as it looks good, it's made of high quality fabric and it is easy to fit and adjust in the car. Most importantly, it is very easy to secure your child inside and swivel it in to the position that you want. The recline features are also great, especially for newborn babies.

How did this product make your life easier?

I found this product much easier to use than the original car seat I purchased myself. The fact that it spins so you can sit your toddler in the seat without having to stretch is so practical. On a long journey, I would recline the seat completely and my little one would drift off and have a comfortable sleep just like she would in her cot. It’s just great!

Would you choose this product to win?

Definitely, it's an all-rounder – it’s as good quality as the car seat I previously purchased, which was £100 more, if not better! The spin feature is great for my back as I don’t have to lean down so much to get my little one in the car. I am 100% convinced this should win a Mother & Baby award.

What changes would you make to this product?

There isn't anything I would change about this product – thank you Joie!

Tested by mum Nicola Dunn for the Mother & Baby awards 2018:

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would definitely recommend this car seat to a fellow mum. The Joie 360 is incredibly easy to install, it is very solid and safe for little ones, and the reclining mechanism is a treat for son. He looks so comfortable when he's sleeping in the car seat and very supported. The actual seat itself it quite bulky, so swapping it from car to car can be a handful, but it's worth it as the quality is so high.

How did this product make your life easier?

This product is absolutely great. The 360-degree spin mechanism has changed my life, as I don’t have to turn and twist or strain my back by putting baby in the seat. The sturdy seat gives me peace of mind that baby is comfortable and safe. It is everything I could want in a car seat and more!

Would you choose this product to win?

Yes, I would choose the Joie Spin 360 to win a Mother & Baby award because of the stability and comfort it provides. The design is beautiful and I have the peace of mind knowing that my baby is well protected in the Joie car seat. Other car seats I've come across are quite noisy or fiddly to install, but this one was all fitted within minutes of reading the manual. The manual itself was very straight forward and talks you through step by step instructions. I’d definitely recommend this seat above others I've bought previously.

What changes would you make to this product?

Nothing at all, this car seat is fantastic!
