As the world's first car seat with built-in airbags, the Maxi-Cosi AxissFix Air takes car seat safety to a new level. In the case of an accident its crash detecting system activates the air technology and within 0.05 second the airbags inflate with cold air which gives crucial protection to your child's head, neck and shoulders. This toddler car seat combines state-of-the-art safety performance with a 360° swivelling seat which secures your toddler in a forward-facing seat. For parent's convenience, the Axissfix air offers easy and secure installation and colour indicators confirm that the seat is correctly installed giving parents complete peace of mind.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Michelle: I could not believe how easy this was to install. I absolutely loved the 360° rotation on the seat, it really does save your back when getting your child in and out of the car. I also really like that it has integrated airbags and that it protects my daughter that little bit more. Her safety to me is priceless.

Rebecca: I would recommend this product for new mums as it goes from birth and is very comfortable. It is very safe and doesn't seem to move when in place. I love the swivel motion and it would be perfect if you had a c-section and are unable to lean over the car seat.

Jessica: I would recommend this product to a fellow mum. It has the added safety features of the airbags in the straps and is Isofix so I can drive in the knowledge the car seat is fitted correctly. Furthermore, it has the added turning ability to make it easy to use. The seat also has multiple positions which are great for little ones with different sleep positions.

How did this product make your life easier?

Sarah: This product is amazing and makes my life so much easier. The straps click out of the way to the side and the car seat turns to face the door. This means that I can easily get my children in and out of the car seat without risking bashing their head or mine. The straps clicking out the way means that I know they are not going to get in the way.

Lucy: This product is amazing! I love the swivel feature. It has made getting my little one in and out of the car so much easier and quicker! This makes for a happy child and a happy mummy. My daughter loves this car seat so it must be comfortable. She looks comfortable and falls asleep quickly in it. The extra clip at the front is fantastic too, a great safety feature in many aspects.

Rose: The rotating function of the seat is very easy to operate. This makes life much easier when getting baby both in and out of the car, especially in parking spaces where it is tighter and harder to open the car door.

Would you choose this product to win?

Lucy: I think this product is fantastic. It is comfortable, stylish and easy to use once you work out how. It is just a brilliant product. However, personally, I think the price is a little too much considering it has a few flaws, as any product does. Just the weight of it alone put me off slightly. If it was slightly lighter, I'd say it's a winner!

Kate: The unique selling point of the Maxi Cosi Axissfix Air is the inclusion of built-in airbags, which gives peace of mind when the safety of my child is paramount. Offering a lifetime warranty as standard with this seat is also reassuring as it shows confidence by the manufacturer in the quality of the product.

Michelle: The safety features of this car seat make it stand out above many competitors. It was so easy to install with little fuss and my daughter seems to love sitting in it and is very happy napping in it too. The spin feature is great and makes it so easy for getting my daughter in and out of the car with ease.

What changes would you make to this product?

Rebecca: The car seat does not recline very far when forward facing meaning the baby tends to flop forward when asleep which is not good for their necks. The five-point harness strap is very thin and difficult to hold both pieces together in one hand making it difficult to do up. It is still very heavy despite not having a foot on the base. This means it is not so easy to lift in and out of cars making me reluctant to move it.

Jessica: If I could change one thing about this car seat, I would change the seat material into a much more summer friendly material. I am aware that you can buy summer covers for the car seat, however, it would be more beneficial for the car seat to have covers that do not sweat and are cool from the outset. It is easier to keep a child warm in a car seat with extra covers than cool them down.

Sarah: The only thing that I would change about the car seat is the colours and patterns that you can get the seat in. I would love it if you were able to get different more gendered, bright and neutral patterns.
