Would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

When you start weaning it can be very expensive, so good value good quality products are important. I would recommend HiPP Organic to my Mummy friends on that basis. The ingredients are organic and taste lovely (yes I tried them!) it’s not filled with lots of additives either, plus it’s cheaper than a lot of other brands.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

I love that these foods come in lightweight pouches, making them easy to take out and about or to store in the cupboard. The convenience of being able to reach to a cupboard and knowing that you have a good quality delicious tasting meal for your baby is really important as well. Overall, it saves me time, doesn't take up much room in my bag and therefore makes my life easier.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

I would change the pouch packaging as I found it a bit old fashioned in some of its design.

Would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

We loved this product.  I really liked the fact the products are organic and the pouches aren't the usual fruit and veggies.  We received the cottage pie as my little one has had all vegetables but not a meal as a puree, so was really pleased to have received this.  Also the fruit purees we received were a great mixture of fruit instead of the usual banana, apple and pears.  The packaging was colourful too, which made it appealing.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

These products were great as they didn't require any preparation from me, ideal for a busy mum.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

There isn't anything I'd change about this product, it's fantastic.

Would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

The variety of the range of this product is excellent; the food combinations are very good and more interesting than other products in this category. The sizes of the pouches are more generous than some for the first stage of weaning. This product contains organic ingredients with no added sugars and they taste very natural. These pouches are very fresh and were thoroughly enjoyed by my baby, so I highly recommend it.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

The range of organic ingredients gives you the reassurance that the baby is getting the best food, the pouches keep the food fresh and once opened can be kept for up to 24 hours refrigerated. The pouches are easy for being on the go, can be fed straight from the pouch onto a spoon and the reseal lid does not leak.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

I would not change anything about this product.

Would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

Pouches are organic, no additives, tasty and very very smooth.  They come in 70g-100g pouches, with a range of different flavours, once open they only last 24 hours.  Being pouches, they don’t leak or spill like others, they are easy to feed baby with, just heat in water (if you want to) and put on a spoon. It limits wastage, plus they can easily fit into any change bag, so good for on the go.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

The pouches are very convenient when out and about, they are on the expensive side but then most convenience food is.  When starting to wean, baby takes only small amounts to get used to the difference in textures and flavours. With it being 100% organic and only fruit and vegetable you know what your baby is eating, so it takes unnecessary pressure on pureeing your own to start with.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

The price could be lowered, as these are expensive.

Tested by mum Karen Collins for the M&B Awards 2016:

Would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

These HiPP Organic stage 1 pouches are very good. There is a variety of flavours all of which my baby really enjoyed. The flavours are not too bland and also not overpowering. The texture was good for weaning, not too smooth and not too lumpy. The flavour combinations were good. The design looks good and suggests a high quality product. I would recommend these pouches.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

The HiPP Organic stage 1 pouches are very handy for on the go and for lunch packs as they can be easily resealed if baby doesn't finish the pouch in one sitting. They enabled my baby to try a variety of fruit and savoury combinations that would've have taken a lot longer to prepare from scratch.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

The price is quite expensive, but you know that you are getting a quality product. If the price could be brought down fractionally, it might entice more mums to go for this product. I usually only buy these when there is a multi-pack offer on so that I get better value for money.

My baby loves these HiPP Organic stage 1 pouches! They are simple flavours with no nasty additives. The fruity ones are our favourites!  They're really good value for money and come with a handy resealable lid so they're great for taking out and about with you.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

They're small and easy to pop in your bag when you're going out. The lid is resealable which is very useful! The flavours are yummy - my baby loves them! No nasty additives, just simple ingredients and flavours just right for little ones.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

Nothing, they are perfect!

These HiPP Organic stage 1 pouches are full of flavours with each pouch having three or four flavours combinations, which are either fruit or veg based and are a of smooth consistency.  They have brightly coloured packaging with pictures of all the ingredients on them.  They are a good size and reasonable price. But given the combination of flavours I feel that these are more for after weaning is established rather than first tastes. They have to be used with 24 hours of opening so for initial weaning you would end up freezing some. I will be definitely returning to these pouches once my little one is a little older.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

Easy for on the go feeding and good for introducing more complex mixes to little ones’ taste buds.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

I personally wouldn't change anything about these pouches but I personally will return to using these to extend little one’s taste buds

Tested by mum Rebecca Biggins for the M&B Awards 2016:

Would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

I think my son really enjoyed the HiPP organic pouches - the fruit ones are 100% fruit, everything is organic (alleviating the Mum-guilt caused by not giving your baby home-made food) and the savoury ones are tasty, normal flavours.  No sprout puree here. Pouches are great, as mess is minimised and any leftovers can be stored in a changing bag without the worry of baby cottage pie ending up all over clean clothes.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

The HiPP Organic Pouches have made my life easier as they provide a healthy, convenient alternative to home-made food.  They're great for when you're out and about - either attach a clever pouch spoon or squeeze food out onto a spoon to feed the baby just the right amount.  The other great thing about these pouches is that they're a decent size!  Some of the pouches on the market for Stage 1 are absolutely tiny and (having a chunky baby) I've had to feed him two at a time!

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

Not much, to be honest - the flavours are good, particularly the fruit ones. The pouches aren't the cheapest on the market, but nor are they the most expensive - I'd definitely buy these pouches again.

The sachets are a good size and very easy to use. The caps that screw on and off are great and I feel confident about sealing up a sachet and putting it in my bag without the worry of it leaking, which is great as it is predominantly what I use sachets for. The flavours have all been well received by my son.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

It makes life so much easier having sachets that are reliably eaten by your child out and about. Being able to reseal them is also of huge importance if they are not eaten as 6 month olds can be a bit hit and miss at the start.
