This clever combination works together to help reduce the appearance of stretch marks and to soothe symptoms such as uncomfortable, sore, irritable-feeling skin. Solution for Stretch Marks combines the most effective ingredients from science and nature to actively soothe problem areas where stretch marks occur including breasts, tummy, hips and thighs. Solution for Stretch Marks is also suitable for weight-gain stretch marks and growth-spurt marks.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Catherine: This product comes in attractive packaging. It’s very easy to use and dispenses well. It rubs in nicely and leaves the skin feeling hydrated and smooth. I would recommend it based on this. I cannot confirm whether or not it does prevent stretch marks as I have not been using it for long enough.

Wendy: I personally prefer oil based maternity products for stretch marks. Although they may be more difficult to rub in they do not leave my skin feeling as sticky as this cream. I do not like the smell of it either. On the packaging and instructions, it does not mention whether is safe to use during pregnancy. It is overpriced compared to other products on the market.

Amanda: I know many mums have a lot of issues with stretch marks in pregnancy. Not only can they make you feel less confident, but they also itch and can get sore. So many products on the shelves are about prevention of stretch marks but from what I’ve read it’s more about genetics. So this product, that reduces their appearance is great.

How did this product make your life easier?

Jessica: The product itself is well packaged and has a pleasing smell, without being too fragranced. It has a pump dispenser which is more hygienic than having to dip into a pot. It rubs in nicely and doesn’t leave too much of a residue. You don’t have to wait for ages to get dressed after application. My skin feels well hydrated after application, a feeling that lasts throughout the day.

Shannon: Before using this stretch mark cream, I had a few angry looking stretch marks around the bottom of my stomach. Using this product twice a day for a couple of weeks, really took the redness away and minimised the look of them. I like this as unlike other oils I've used, it doesn't linger on your hands for hours afterwards.

Catherine: If anything this product adds time to my daily routine. If given more time to assess its full effects on stretch marks, I could say it made life easier by helping with self-confidence and body positivity.

Would you choose this product to win?

Amanda: I’ve only been using this for a couple of weeks. I haven’t yet noticed a massive difference in my stretch marks though they do seem lighter in colour. What I think stands out is how soft and easy to rub in this cream is. It’s so smooth and silky which makes it feel really luxurious. So many other stretch mark products are oily and leave the skin greasy.

Jessica: Unfortunately, no I wouldn’t purchase this product. It’s difficult to say whether this has made much of a difference. I have still been developing new marks and my stretch marks are itchy and uncomfortable. I don’t think that it has made my previous stretch marks less visible. Perhaps I haven’t been using it for long enough. It is, however, a lovely, moisturising cream that soaks in quickly and leaves skin feeling nourished. I’ve gone back to an alternative product that is greasier and makes my stretch marks feel less tight and itchy.

Shannon: The price is the only area that lets this product down for me. It does work extremely well and quickly. However, there are other brands/products that work nearly as well but cost less than a quarter of the price. I do think this product jumps out at you from the shelf as something special and the price accurately reflects that.

What changes would you make to this product?

Catherine: I think this product is very expensive. Therefore, based on this, I would have to say that the one thing I would change about the product is the price. As a high-end product, I realise there will be bigger overheads but nearly £40 seems extravagant. Especially for something that is aimed solely at pregnancy.

Wendy: It would be the texture of the product. I would have liked it to feel more moisturising when applied to my skin. It became very sticky and dried quickly. I prefer products for stretch marks that I can massage into the skin so it feels like a more luxurious and relaxing treat after a long day. I would prefer oil-based products which smell better too.

Amanda: Probably the price. It is a lot more than I would spend on a lotion or product for myself. I just can’t afford that sort of money. Having said that, if I had a lot of stretch marks and was desperate then maybe I would. It’s hard to find the balance between a high-quality product and an affordable price point.
