Kate: This product is amazing! I took it out of the box, charged and set it up – no reading of instructions needed as it was so intuitive and easy to operate. It has a massive screen with an excellent picture and really useful that the camera moves remotely and zooms. The range is great and the quality of the picture is unaffected. I also like the peace of mind that it beeps when out of range. It would easily fit in a suitcase to take away on holiday as although the screen is wide, it is not too bulky.
Anna: Yes. The device was simple and easy to set up. The parent unit and camera connected very quickly and no connectivity issues or interference. The parental display unit was easy to navigate and understand without having to refer to instructions. The movement functions (pan, tilt and zoom) from the parental unit were quick and gave a good range of visibility - this would be great for wriggly babies.
Shelley: Yes I would definitely recommend this product! It is easy to set up and to use. The screen size is large and the sound is also clear. The camera has a tilt and zoom function so if the baby is moving or you want a close-up view this can be done without having to go into the room and disturbing the baby. You can play sounds and music and the battery life is long so it doesn’t require constant plugging in.
How did this product make your life easier?
Anna: It provides peace of mind as you are able to listen to and see your sleeping child when in a different room in the house. The unit is intuitive and the options to remotely swivel the camera and zoom in on the child is amazing! Having only used audio monitors previously, I was really impressed with this and would definitely consider buying a video monitor in the future.
Susannah: I loved this baby monitor and it made my life so much easier as a mum. The screen was a good size and the picture quality so good that I felt confident that I could keep an eye on my baby whilst he was sleeping whilst getting on with other things. I also loved the fact that you could move the camera picture from the handheld monitor, making it even easier to keep an eye on my baby.
Sarah: This product is definitely a luxury as far as a baby monitor goes. The large and high definition picture gave me great reassurance that my child was sound asleep. The picture is so clear I could see my child breathing. The other features such as lullabies and white noise are handy.
Would you choose this product to win?
Abi: I would choose this product mainly for its ease of use! The controls are easy to understand and the camera was easy to set up. The range for the handset/monitor was good and we could get a signal from all over our house. The screen on the handset is bigger than most and the quality is good. Being able to move the camera around remotely is a big positive as I can keep a track of my little one without having to go in his room.
Anna: I would choose this monitor over others, even the one I currently use. However, the price is quite restrictive for many people. Having a baby is very expensive and a video monitor is a luxury compared to just an audio monitor.
Shelley: Yes I would choose this product. I feel it has all features required for a baby monitor and although a bit more expensive than others on the market I feel it is worth it. The screen is large, the battery life is long, the sound on the monitor is very clear and it does not have a constant background noise.
What changes would you make to this product?
Lynsey: I think the one thing I would change is the battery life of the monitor. After about three and a half hours, the monitor would start to show low battery.
Anna: If I could change one thing it would be to make it less expensive. £159 is a lot of money to spend all at once and many monitors on the market are cheaper than this. I would also include a way to affix the camera as it was a bit unsteady.
Elizabeth: The main thing I would change about this video monitor would be the amount of light it gives off. The night time video feed is pretty dark but the unit seemed to be very bright so it was difficult to sleep with it near you.
