The Bumbo multi seat at a glance:

The multi seat is designed for babies and toddlers who can already sit up unaided (recommended for babies between 6 to 36 months), it can be transformed to accommodate the different stages of your child’s development. The multi seat can be used as a floor seat, strapped to an adult chair for feeding in place of a highchair or used as a booster by removing the pad, adapting to the growing needs of your child.

The Bumbo multi seat features:

  • Stow away tray which is easily detached and manoeuvred with one hand to stow away neatly in its slot behind the backrest of the seat.

  • Two height settings to accommodate smaller babies and larger toddlers.

  • Attachment straps with storage slots for the buckles.

  • The base of the seat has non-slip pads and a smooth rounded surface to avoid damage to furniture.

  • Easy to clean.

How did this product make your life easier?

It’s an absolutely fantastic and well thought through piece of baby equipment and looks great in my kitchen diner!

It sits perfectly on our dining room chair, I feel confident with how secure it is on the chair as there is rubber bits on the bottom that stop it slipping. The straps around my son, Theo, as well as the chair are easy to adjust and keep him safe and secure.

It looks so comfortable and Theo loves sitting in it! He (and we) love that he can sit with us all at the dining table for all his meals and it can be taken into other rooms easily if we want to. It can also be taken elsewhere; friends homes/ restaurants/ camping etc, it’s compact and super easy to store.

The straps easily fold away inside the chair itself making it really neat when using it on the floor or a table (supervised).

Another feature I love is the tray that can be clipped on or lift off. It again stores neatly at the back of the chair. I’ve had a seat before with my first child and the tray was a pain to put on and to store.

It becomes better value for money considering it can be used when your baby gets bigger, I’m looking forward to being able to use it when my son gets older, there is a booster pad on the inside that can be removed, which can then be stored under the seat itself - which is great for someone like me who would never find it again once taking it out and putting it in the loft!

I like that you can add extra accessories too like an activity tray and suction toys.

Would you recommend this to other parents?

Yes I would, I have a friend expecting soon and in fact I have told her about the chair because I’ve found it so helpful. I also wouldn’t want her to purchase another chair (that might be a bit cheaper) and end up having to buy something else down the road because it hasn’t lasted or their child didn’t like it because it wasn’t comfortable.

Would you choose this product above all others on the market?

Definitely, I have seen some other products that look quite flimsy, clunky and definitely don’t look as smart as this one.

A friend has one that is very similar but it can’t be sat safety on a chair (doesn’t have chair straps or rubber stoppers on the bottom), if you just got a regular chair you would need to get another product if you wanted your child to sit on a chair at a dining table.

What changes would you make to this product?

I’ve got to say I think they have thought of everything and I’m delighted with it. The only thing that would have been nice is to have the chair straps snap back into the seat automatically rather than feeding it through but it’s really not necessary.
