At a glance:

This apron-style towel keeps hands free for bathing and lifting your baby while keeping you dry. The long and luxurious towel cocoons and cuddles baby quickly dry with pure unbleached cotton and natural bamboo fibre. The towel is safe and secure making bathing a stress-free, natural, bonding time. Its unique double-layer system with hood is silky soft, highly absorbent and draws water away from baby's skin and hair.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Zoe: I would recommend this for multiple reasons. We all need towels and until using this I had no idea some towels are better than others. We want our babies to feel soft and snug when they get out the bath so they feel ready for sleep and this does the job. Also, I’d recommend it for safety reasons. Babies are slippy when they get out of the bath and this towel avoids all of that as you can dry them straight away.

Emma: This makes bathtime so much easier and the whole concept of the product is brilliant. The quality of the towel is lovely, thick and soft. It washes nicely and folds away easily or hangs on towel hooks. So easy to use, just hook over your neck before you bath the baby and it's a great size so would take you right into toddlerhood unlike any other 'baby towels'.

Lavinia: It is presented very nicely in the box and would make a nice gift for a new mum. However, it could be quite expensive if you just used this brand. The colour and trim are nice and it washes very well. The material is very soft compared to some baby towels which get rough after a little while.

How did this product make your life easier?

Clare: It saved trying to wrap the baby up in a towel and them either getting lost in a big bath towel or having a baby towel that is too small. It was a bonus that the towel was attached to me so I didn’t have to try and balance a wet slippery baby while trying to get the towel organised too. It gave me chance to have lovely cuddles with her (replicating her time in a baby carrier/sling) and I didn't have to rush to get her dried and dressed as we were both comfortable and cuddly.

Chelsey: The towel is presented so beautifully that it would make a fantastic gift for new parents. I love that it is made of bamboo and pure cotton. I was impressed with the luxurious feel. The colour scheme is neutral but I love that they have other colours and designs. I wish I had the towel sooner. For once, I was not soaked getting my son out of the bath, my hands were free and I can hold him on my chest with the gorgeously soft and thick towel. It is such a simple yet effective idea. Every single new parent out there needs one - it has made bath time considerably easier!

Helen: I love this towel. It really does make bathtime much easier for parents. You can put the towel around your neck which means you don't have to try and hook it under your chin to prevent you from getting wet and it makes it easier to wrap up a baby straight away. The poppers are easily and quickly released too which makes it very easy to use.

Would you choose this product to win?

Zoe: I would choose this product because it’s soft, big, it’s great value for money, it makes the baby feel snug and it is great for bonding with the baby. I like the material more than other products on the market. I have had similar towels and they aren’t as soft. The material is very important as nobody wants a scratchy or thin fabric after a bath.

Emma: The ease of bathtime that comes with this product makes it a far better buy than any other baby towel. Obviously, a towel is an essential item for bathtime and this is different from many other towels due to it's USP. However, there are softer, better quality towels available at this price. I do think it's highly priced and ideally, you would have more than one of these to account for washing. If it came as a pack of two for this price I would think it was better value for money.

Lavinia: It is a very good quality towel. It has two bamboo layers which are very soft and snug for baby. It is also large compared to some baby towels and so you could easily use it with a toddler as well. Like a lot of baby towels, it has a hood to keep baby warm. However, I did not really like using it the way it is designed and preferred using it as a normal towel.

What changes would you make to this product?

Chelsey: The one and only thing I would change about this product is the hefty price tag. Having a newborn is totally overwhelming and at that point spending £30 on a bath towel would not have been an option. Now that my son has turned one and we have paid out for all the expensive things we can spend a little more on things that we wouldn't have before. I would have loved to have had this towel when he was a newborn as it is so useful but I think it would be more appealing if the cost was a little lower.

Helen: I would make the towel a little bigger. I don't think you can ever have a towel that is too big. Being in a very tall family I struggle to get nice baby towels that are big enough for my tall children! This was bigger than the others but will not last much longer than the age of one for my tall baby. However, I will still be using it for as long as I can!

Zoe: I honestly don’t think I would change anything. The only thing I can think of is I would change my beige and white towel for plain white as then it would match the colour scheme of my bathroom better. Just because we have babies it doesn’t mean we have to compromise on style. That’s the only thing as I loved it a lot!
