What we say:

This is a solid chair that glides smoothly. The build quality is great and it’s really easy to put in the recline positions, plus it has a spacious seat. It’s a good option if you have back problems, as it’s ergonomically designed to aid your posture – our testers found this particularly comfortable to feed in.

Tested by Emily Nellist, from Newark, mum to Patrick, three weeks, and Noah, two. She said:

This glides so effortlessly and smoothly – it really helped soothe Patrick to sleep much more quickly than normal. For that reason, along with the superb comfort, it’s my favourite of the chairs tested. I often suffer with backache, but the cushion on the chair feels especially supportive, so I know it’s helping my posture, which is fantastic. Top marks!

Tested by Claire Thornhill, from Cumbria, is mum to Ollie, three months, Luke, four, and Erin, six. She said:

My favourite chair for comfort – the height and structure of the back cushion supported my head really well, so I could rest while I was feeding. Unfortunately, the arms are too high, but it’s quite wide, so I could squeeze my arm beside me and still feed comfortably, with a bit of manoeuvring. It’s sturdy enough for bedtime stories with both boys.

Tested by Sara Neale, from Shropshire, is mum to Rupert, six months, and Ralph, 21 months. She said:

I couldn’t wait to test out the plush back cushion, but during night feeds I wished the seat cushion was a bit thicker. There’s lots of space, but that means it doesn’t ‘hug’ me like the other chairs. It’s definitely great value, though, thanks to the quality of the materials. A lovely quality chair overall – it looks great and is built to last.
