At a glance:

The Grobag provides a safer, easier to use alternative to loose sheets and blankets with no more kicking off covers, giving both parents and babies a much better night’s sleep. The Grobag is the only baby sleep bag recommended by The Lullaby Trust and the first to achieve the British Standard.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Sheri: It is so easy to use and you can be assured that your baby will stay at a regular temperature during the night. It comes with a handy room thermometer and a guide on the best outfits or clothes for them to sleep in. It is handy that they come in different togs for different temperature rooms plus a number of different designs.

Catia: I would definitely recommend the Grobag to my friends or to any mum. It makes your life easier because you don't need to be concerned about an accident on the cot with bedding because with the gro bag you don't need anything else. It's easy to use and it's a good price for such a good product.

Leanne: I really like the choice you have with this product in terms of tog ratings and designs. Having the different tog bags gives you peace of mind when getting your baby ready for bed. The handy little chart provided enables you to choose the right clothing and Gro bag for the current temperature, so you know your baby won’t be too cold or won’t overheat.

How did this product make your life easier?

Rachel: My daughter is an eleven-month-old whirlwind in her sleep. She thrashes around the cot all night. For this reason, a sheet and blanket combination to keep her warm at night would not be possible. Thank goodness for the Gro-bag. It is so comfortable and perfectly designed to allow for a cosy sleep but with room to move. It’s very easy to fit, even after she has fallen asleep. It stops her waking up because she is cold which definitely makes my life easier as a mummy!

Jane: The Grobag is fantastic. Parents can safely pop their little ones to sleep without the worries that accompany nighttime routine. It eliminates the chances of loose covers going over faces or getting caught, baby overheating or waking because the cover has been kicked off or legs getting caught in cot bars. It can be quickly changed and they wash really well. I love the clothing guide that comes with it. I got rid of covers once my little ones were big enough to use the Grobags and I never looked back!

Melissa: This is a great product which takes the worry out of putting your little one down for a sleep. No problems with kicking off covers, getting cold or overheating in a sleeping bag which is too heavy. Peace of mind is provided by the design and the tog rating combined with the guide and thermometer which come with the Grobag.

Would you choose this product to win?

Kim: I would choose this product above any others on the market, as it gives me peace of mind as a parent. I don’t have to worry about loose covers which could be kicked off and therefore I can maintain a consistent temperature for my sleeping son. The Grobag is easy to get my son in and out of and can easily be taken off for a night time nappy change. Grobags are also available in a variety of designs and togs to suit taste and seasonal room temperatures.

Victoria: Before getting the Grobag I thought all baby sleep pods were created equal but this has changed my mind. Similarly to others, it has a zip around the edge but only has one shoulder of poppers, the other one is fixed. My little Houdini had worked out he could free himself from regular sleep pods by standing on the bottom until they popped open but the Grobag has him stumped. I found this easier to get on him, especially when wriggling away.

Sian: The design is eye-catching for kids and something they can relate to when it comes to nap or bedtimes. The price tag at first seems quite high but when you see the quality of the product it goes without saying. You definitely get more for your money.

What changes would you make to this product?

Kayleigh: I would change the way you do the Grobag up. I have bought other brands with a zip on the side which was less irritating for my son. The Grobag has a zip at front and it has been rubbing against his neck and chin. Other than that, there is nothing I would change.

Catia: The only thing I would change would be the zip on the side. Sometimes it's not that easy with a bigger child. I would definitely add more designs that are more colourful. Overall, I think that it's very good and I wouldn't change much. My daughter simply sleeps better with it.

Leanne: The only thing I would change about this product would be to make them a little bit cheaper if possible. You can't argue with the quality of the product. However, our one-year-old still suffers from reflux and it's expensive having enough of the sleep bags in various tog ratings in case of an accident.
