What they say:

“Weighing just 5.8kg, the Zest stroller is ultra light, yet it's super sturdy. Suitable from birth up to 25kg, it's a practical and feature-packed stroller that folds down quickly and conveniently into an ultra compact package. Zest has a roomy seat and tall back rest, with the best lie-flat seat recline in its class. It features a fully-extendable hood with UPF50+ sun protection, a five-point harness, shopping basket and carry handle. Zest is available in a choice of 4 contemporary colours.”

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I love all of the features of this pushchair. That is because it is so lightweight and easy to fold down. I would reccomend this to a friend. It's so easy to fold down and then open back up, although it was a bit stiff the first few times. It fits into the boot of our car with no issues unlike our old bulky pushchair!

How did this product make your life easier?

The Silver Cross Zest makes my life easier as a mum as it's easy to transport so I have no struggling getting it in and out of the boot. My son enjoys sitting in here and can't wriggle out of the straps like he does in his old pushchair. Being so lightweight and easy to fold is also a massive bonus. It's so easy to push too which is always a good thing!

Would you choose this product to win?

I would choose the Silver Cross Zest above all others as it is a brilliant little stroller and it is such a lovely pushchair. Lovely design and colours. I have tried many strollers over the years but must admit this is one of my favourites.

What changes would you make to this product?

If I could change one thing about this product it would be the hood as it makes a strange clicking noise which at first made me think it was broken. Also I would make the basket underneath bigger as although it is a decent size a bigger one is always helpful. Other than that there is nothing I would change about this pushchair as I think it's one of the best pushchairs I have owned.

To start with, when you get the pushchair out of the box, it is ready to go. No fiddly wheels to attach or shopping baskets to clip on. You just slot the hood on. That is a major bonus for me. It is lightweight but still with the luxury you would expect from Silver Cross. It is comfortable for your child (even across rough terrain-we live on a farm and it took the farm yard perfectly).

How did this product make your life easier?

The Zest is suitable from birth as it lies flat and, on a recent shopping trip, he slept for an hour. I couldn't believe it. It is so compact that there is loads of room left in my car boot and it fits into a corner in the house and you hardly notice it.

Would you choose this product to win?

It is luxurious but so practical. It is basically a pram disguised as a pushchair. The back rest is really smooth to put up and down which is essential if your little one falls asleep. It is as good in a shopping centre and it is on a bumpy footpath and the steering and brakes are fabulous. It does not look cheap at all. When you see the name Silver Cross, you think of great British workmanship and the Zest does not disappoint. I am so impressed with it.

What changes would you make to this product?

This is a tough one as I am so impressed with the Zest but I have struggled folding the pushchair up. You have to push down one lever and fiddle with another and it has taken a lot of practice to get it right. I'd hate to be in a rush or holding the baby on a bus for example and be under pressure to fold it in a hurry.

I would definitely recommend this lightweight pushchair to other mums. I always thought that McLaren pushchair was the only buggy I would ever use but this one is just amazing. It is very light and folds down perfectly. It has got large storage basket which is perfect for shopping and days out. It feels very stable and high quality and is suitable from birth.

How did this product make your life easier?

The Silver Cross Zest is a very lightweight pram yet very stable and high quality. My daughter felt very comfortable in it. The large storage basked makes it very handy when out shopping or during days out as you can fit a lots of things in it. The pushchair folds down really small and doesn't take up too much space in the boot of my car.

The weight of the pushchair makes it stand out from others. It is just so light yet great quality. The seat reclines right back which is perfect for sleeping when out and about. Also the hood comes down quite far which is also handy when sleeping and to shade from sun. Pushchair feels sturdy even on rocky paths. The price is very affordable.

What changes would you make to this product?

Although the pushchair is amazing it does have few bits I would change - when the seat is fully reclined it is hard to access the shopping basket. Also even though it is suitable from birth it doesn't give you an option to be parent facing so for me I would not use it from birth. Also despite the buggy feeling quite sturdy it does fall backwards when you have something heavy hanging off it (but I think most pushchairs would). The matching accessories are quite expensive.

Great quality, looks expensive. Folds up and down really easily, one handed in fact - good for when you've got a toddler in your arms! Also got a really handy strap for carrying the buggy around. This is a great idea and will be fantastic for when we go on holiday. It's very easy to use but also looks really good, comes with a fab rain cover too that folds up really small when not in use. I loved the viewing panel that can be zipped up when not in use.

How did this product make your life easier?

It's so easy to fold up and down even with a toddler in your arms. It's so nippy to use too, really lightweight even with the toddler in it. Great swivel wheels which makes it really easy to get about. Folds up easy and great shoulder strap making it easier to carry and get in and out of the car. Surprised by how light it was, excellent quality.

This is by far one of the best quality buggies I've come across. You can see the difference in the quality. Loved the design, looked great when out and about. The swivel wheels were brill and handled most obstacles. Also really roomy, my toddler is quite small but loads of room, she can use this for a long time to come yet. Great for trips to the shops, holidays and general out and about. My eldest child who has grown out of buggies was arguing to get in it so that's a massive seal of approval!

What changes would you make to this product?

Only one small thing that I can think of and that would be if it was able to stand up. I know most buggies don't but I've been used to a particular buggy that stands up on its own, so handy to stand up in the cloak room when it's out of the way. Although this folds up great and it small and lightweight it is really handy when a buggy can be stored upright. This is the only thing I can think of to improve. Otherwise it's a fab buggy and great to use.

Love love love this pushchair. A pleasure to push and looks great I love the extendable canopy/sunshade and is great for keeping little ones cool. It’s easy to fold and comes with a handy carry strap. Its handles are soft and easy to use. The basket is big enough for a packet of nappies or a bag of shopping. I like the adjustable footrest too.

How did this product make your life easier?

This stroller is light easy to fold and lovely to use. Makes every thing easier. I have already recommended it to friends after only a week. I love the carry straps so you can transport it easily which for a single mum with 2 children is a blessing. It's great for holidays too as it's so practical and the extra shade is good for the sun.
