At a glance:

Silver Cross are still making waves with this beautiful double buggy. It’s easy to push, even with two on board and there are plenty of seat configurations to accommodate your growing brood.

What they say:

"As all good parents know, it's good to plan ahead. With this in mind we created Wave - a flexible travel system designed to carry your newborn in comfort and style, yet future-proofed for the arrival of a second baby."

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend this product to my friend/fellow mums because it is so easy to push around and is such a beautiful design. It also has lots of different ways you can position the seats, which as a mum of two can be really handy. I’ve found when my two are playing up, being able to sit them facing each other allows them to keep themselves entertained for longer. The Wave is also so quick and easy to put up and fold away.

How has this product made your life easier?

This product has made my life much easier! When I'm out doing food shopping, the Wave is amazing to move around the shops as it is not too long or too wide to get in fellow shoppers’ way. I’ve also found that putting the pram away in the car is quick and easy, and it fits well inside the boot of my car – which is always a worry with a double buggy! I’ve also found being able to have the pram facing lots of different ways has made my easier. Thanks Silver Cross!

Would you choose this product to win?

Yes, I would definitely choose this pram over all the others on the market because I cannot fault it. The Wave stand outs because of how easy it is to use, but also how stylish and elegant it looks. It’s the perfect size and the frame its very smart and a lovely colour. I absolutely love this pushchair.

What changes would you make to this product?

The one thing I would change about the pram is the weight of it – it’s quite heavy, which can be a problem when trying to get the pram up the stairs or up a steep curb. I live in a second-floor flat, without a lift, so I have had to take the pram completely apart to get it up there. Although this is to be expected when buying a double buggy.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend this product to other mums because it is very easy to use and has such a convenient, narrow design. It has numerous configurations which make it a cut above the rest and the fact it has a carry cot and seat combinations available will make this a very appealing product amongst all pram shoppers. Other manufacturers should be worried!

How has this product made your life easier?

I found this product easier to get through doors, as the configuration of two seats next to each other fit through shop doors much easier. I found that collapsing the pram is much easier to store than other double prams. I also found changing round the seats is executed with ease and I was able to move the pushchair round on the move, depending on what we were doing.

Would you choose this product to win?

I would choose this product over others on the market due to its ease of use and excellent quality. The materials used on the pram have a look and feel of undeniable quality. The frame looks like it is made from the same sort of materials used for a high-end sports car, not a buggy!

What changes would you make to this product?

If I could change one thing about this product it would be the price. I completely think it is worth the RRP, but I think many mums will be put off by the price. However, as soon as you use the Silver Cross Wave, you realise it is worth every penny – it is literally perfect!

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend this product as it was made with an absolutely fantastic quality – it felt sturdy and very well made and was finished to the highest standard I have ever seen on a pram. My twin girls were very comfortable in the pram, it gave the smaller of my twins a great deal of support and she seemed to really like it. We used it when my nephew came to stay and I can confirm it also worked well for two children of a different age.

How has this product made your life easier?

The pram was easy to collapse and put up, and I loved the fact that the rain covers came in their own bag. The shopping basket was a good size and reasonably easy to get to compared to some of the other double buggies I have used. It comes with the car seat adapters which are handy for when you are just popping somewhere. It was easy to manoeuvre around the shops and the length adjustment for the handle was great as my husband is a lot taller than me!

Would you choose this product to win?

Personally, I wouldn't choose the Wave for my twins as I like to sit them side by side but I know this is just a personal preference and if I had different children of different ages, it would be top of my list! It was quite heavy to manoeuvre up kerbs and personally, I think that's where side by side is easier. I was pleasantly surprised how well it was made and I loved the finish of the Silver Cross Wave – it definitely felt like a very high-quality, well-made product.

What changes would you make to this product?

The weight of the pram felt heavy and I found it to be a little tricky hard to get up and down kerbs, but this is often the case with double buggies! That said, when it was empty, it was easy in and out of the car which is also important. My only worry would be the weight of the pushchair as my children get older, as currently my twins are only 5-months-old, but I absolutely loved everything else about this pushchair.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend the Silver Cross Wave to other mums and dads as it is super easy to use – even my husband worked it out (and that says a lot!) It’s convenient and practical. I love how much storage space there is under the pushchair and absolutely adore the leather handles, giving the pushchair that classy and elegant look Silver Cross is known for. It feels really secure and looks comfortable for a baby and toddler, I also found it is a good ride height for my toddler, but that this can also be easily changed for my baby.

How has this product made your life easier?

I absolutely love this pushchair! I must admit, when I first put it up I thought it would be too big as a double and that I’d prefer it as a single buggy, but I was completely wrong. It was exactly what I hoped for and is so easy to steer around the shops and not too heavy to lift both up kerbs and into the car.

Would you choose this product to win?

I would choose the Silver Cross Wave to win – although the price tag is high, you definitely get what you pay for with this pushchair. The parts feel strong and the brake feels firm and secure. Not only does it look the part, but the huge shopping basket and the cup holder are amazing extras that really do make life as a mum easier.

What changes would you make to this product?

If I had to pick something, the one tiny thing I would change would be making the cup holder higher as I bumped it a couple of times and was worried I would break it! I would also love it if the handle moved at an angle, not just up and down, but that might just be me and it definitely wouldn’t put me off buying it at all.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would 100% recommend this pushchair, due to the ease of use and the overall sturdiness of the pushchair. It doesn’t in anyway feel flimsy or weak, which I think is often a worry with a double pushchair and it is super easy to put together – I didn’t even need to look at the instructions once! I love the little details such as the cosytoes and insert matching the colour of the pushchair – both are essential for winter and look really beautiful and high quality. I also really like the bug net and mesh air vent at the top, as it stopped my two from getting too hot in the summer.

How has this product made your life easier?

The Silver Cross Wave is a great pushchair and is so easy to put together as a single or a double. I love the big shopping basket, which definitely made life on the move a lot easier and the handle is lovely to push. The seats for newborn and toddler are well made and look really safe. I was also very impressed at how easily the Wave fits through shop doors and how light it was to push around. I can’t tell you how many compliments I got when I was out and about with this – thanks Silver Cross!

Would you choose this product to win?

Yes, I would, the Wave is by far the easiest double buggy I have ever used and I have tried a few now. Whilst most double buggies on the market are heavy and awkward when you convert them, with the Wave you don’t feel any difference between using this as a single or a double. I love how easily you can change the seat configurations around and found this to be so amazing for long walks.

What changes would you make to this product?

There isn’t much I would change about this pushchair at all. The only little thing would be the drink holder, which I removed from the pram as I kept hitting it into things. I also found it really filled my boot, but I know this comes with the territory when buying a double buggy and I wouldn’t want Silver Cross to make it smaller and use any of the high-quality feel. It really is a fantastic pushchair, the colour is beautiful and the extra-long sunshade is just another added bonus!
