Would you recommend the ABC Design Cobra Plus to other mums?

I would definitely recommend this pushchair to a friend. It’s well designed and perfect for most terrain. It comes in two parts; having dogs I thought it was great that I could fit the seat part in the back of the car away from dog hair and put the metal base in the boot. I loved the leather detail on the pushchair and the grey seat material gave it a very sophisticated look.

How did this product make your life easier?

I love the fact that it has adjustable suspension, I don't think I've seen this function on a pram before. It was so easy to push even on the bumpiest of terrain. It definitely gives a much smoother ride for baby too. The harness also made my life easier as it was very easy to clip her in and out as the two sides clipped in separately. I always prefer this type of attachment and it makes it easier to adjust.

Would you choose this product to win?

The ABC Design Cobra Plus is great value for money and it looks the part too. I think the suspension is its best feature. It handles really well and its big wheels allow you to take it over fields and other terrain. The fact that it is a three wheeler makes it easier to steer and its definitely one of the best out of all the pushchairs I have tested.

What changes would you make to this product?

Although it looks very sophisticated I thought it did look a little bit 'plastic' in places. The leather and seat were so nice but I would consider a more pleasant looking material for the structure. Perhaps it was just the colour but it just gave it a bit of a 'cheap' look. This wouldn't put me off buying it though as it’s great value for money!

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Yes I would definitely recommend the ABC Design Cobra Plus to other mums. I found the pushchair very lightweight and compact. I don't have a very big boot so was a bit apprehensive before I'd collapsed it as to whether it would fit but was pleasantly surprised. It fit lengthways with the seat folded on top, meaning my shopping and changing bags could go around the edge instead of inside the car. It was easy to push. The five point harness clipped together easily.

How did this product make your life easier?

The chassis was quick to erect and the seat clips into place either forward or parent facing. I liked the fact it had a bumper bar and the material matched the handle. Little details like that are what sells over others that don't. The bumper bar unclipped easily and hood extension meant that baby was protected at our afternoon at the beach.

Would you choose this product to win?

I really enjoyed using this pushchair and baby was happy to sit in it. It looked nice and made life easier with the extra features it had. I found the brake quite tricky to use to begin with and out of habit went to kick the brake off then remembered to depress and squeeze the button. The cover over the five point harness is a fab idea as stops little hands releasing their buckle.

What changes would you make to this product?

If I was to be very picky and change one thing about this buggy it would probably be the basket underneath. It wasn't as large as some others I've used and as a mum of three boys I need lots of storage/carrying space for footballs etc. A handy zip feature or pocket on the hood for keys/dummies to be stored would be a bonus too to make this pushchair the best on the market.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend the ABC Design Cobra Plus to other mums as I really liked how comfortable my little boy looked when he was in this pram. I was impressed with the size of the hood on the seat and also that it was SPF50! It was very lightweight without compromising how sturdy it was. I really liked the feel of the material was really soft and I loved the colour.

How did this product make your life easier?

The ABC Design Cobra Plus made my life easier as a mum as the suspension is so good there was no jolting up curbs when baby was asleep. The size of the underneath basket was really good for putting quite a bit of shopping and the changing bag in. The product was extremely easy to collapse and put up - no fiddly catches.

What changes would you make to this product?

The overall size of the product once it was collapsed was on the large side, we have a large boot so wasn't an obstacle for us but might be a problem for those with small boots. I struggled with the recliner aspect of this product as you need three hands to put the sit back into the sitting position and reclining backwards wasn't great as it just falls back again unless you had three hands (unless I missed a catch that made this easier?), this was the only real downside to this product.
