At a glance:

Our panel of parent testers loved the look of the Nuna MIXX and raved about how easy and compact it was when folded. The adjustable handlebar is great, meaning it can easily be adjusted for parents of all heights, but it’s a little tricky to fold one-handed and a few of our testers struggled with the hood.

What they say:

“Supermarket. Train. Playground. For quick trips out, weekends away, and everything in between—the MIXX is the one. This versatile pushchair has plenty of space for essentials. Plus its smooth maneuverability allows you to push with one hand, for some fun spins along the way. Or for when you need to double back to pick up that dropped bear.”

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Yes, I would recommend the Nuna MIXX to other mums because is easy to steer the shopping basket is a great size when you’re out and about with a baby. I feel that my baby is secured well when sitting in the pushchair – the buggy straps holding him in stayed in place and did not slide down.

How has this product made your life easier?

The buggy is smaller and lighter than my current pram. It is very easy to control and steer one handed and my little one fit in perfectly. He stayed in place perfectly and the straps did not fall down. The shopping basket also made life on the go easier as I could fit a lot inside it. The MIXX is really easy to fold up and down, which is a huge benefit when you’re trying to get your little one home in a rush.

Would you choose this product to win?

I wouldn’t choose this pushchair above others in this category because I think there are still a few improvements that could be made. I found the hood a little tricky to use – it didn’t stay in place and moved the seat with it when it was pulled out. It was also quite heavy and not the easiest to lift in and out of the car when folded.

What changes would you make to this product?

If I could change one thing about the buggy, it would be the hood as I found it difficult to use and that it found itself down when walking fast or in the wind.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend this product to my fellow mummy friends because it fold easily and quite compactly, which is good when going away or trying to fit the pushchair into a smaller car boot. My son looked really comfortable in there and he didn't try and get out of his straps in it, which I'm sure was down to the fact that they were comfortable! Also, the fact it has an adjustable handle bar is fantastic.

How has this product made your life easier?

This product made my life easier as a mum because it was a really good, solid pushchair. We also found that because the handle bar is adjustable, it was great for both myself and partner to use because he is taller than me and our current pushchair does not do this. It also looks really nice and good quality.

Would you choose this product to win?

I think this product really stands out because of how comfortable it is – not only for my son sitting in it, but for myself or partner pushing it. This is down to the quality of the fabric they use on the seat and straps but also the adjustable handle. It also looks nice and folds up great to store and put in the car.

What changes would you make to this product?

I think if I could change one thing about the pushchair, it would be to have the storage. It's not necessarily a reason why I wouldn't purchase it, but is definitely factor I'd consider when buying a new pushchair. I think the basket could be a bit bigger which would make it great when going out and about and doing the shopping.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend the Nuna MIXX to a friend or fellow mum because, although I found it to be quite bulky for a lightweight buggy, it was far superior in quality, robust design and versatility due to the fact that it is part of a travel system. As a travel system, it folds down to a much more convenient size and shape for the boot of my saloon car. As a stroller, it was well built, easy and smooth to operate with more rugged wheels for rougher terrains.

How has this product made your life easier?

I feel that the Nuna MIXX would make my life easier as a mum due to being part of a travel system that still folds down to reasonable size and shape to fit into my car. My little one loved the stroller, asking to sit in it all the time. The larger storage under the seat with an optional divider was great for all of the paraphernalia associated with a toddler or the extra shopping. The oversized hood was great for napping on the move and the different recline positions worked well with a comfy padded seat. Finally, the straps were of a good quality and I wasn’t worried about little fingers getting caught in the buckles.

Would you choose this product to win?

I would choose the Nuna MIXX above all others on the market as I feel that it is designed well, has a great robust feel whilst being easy to collapse, use and manoeuvre. The price is comparable to other inferior models. Also, the buggy can be used in a flat position for a newborn, removing the need for a pram attachment.

What changes would you make to this product?

I didn’t really feel the need to change anything about the Nuna MIXX as it was so well designed for easy use and versatility. If I was to really nit-pick, it could be with being a bit lighter as I have to carry it down a flight of stairs to get to my front door. It isn’t really a lightweight stroller in my view but the fact that is part of a travel system and so well designed makes up for this in spades.

Although I found the instructions a little confusing, it was really straightforward to put the pushchair together, taking about six minutes in total! The pushchair looked great and super sturdy – I really liked the large wheels and thought that the basket was fantastic.  As a mum going on regular trips to the supermarket, a large shopping basket on a pushchair is essential and I loved that the Nuna MIXX has the option to divide the shopping basket into two compartments. The pushchair was very easy to manoeuvre and the large foot brake was in a convenient place and very easy to apply. It is super easy to fold up and down, but personally, I would have preferred a one-handed option.

How has this product made your life easier?

To be honest, the thing I liked best about this pushchair was the shopping basket and how easy it is to push. The basket is very large and I found that I was able to store the baby’s changing bag, blanket, my coat, another bag filled with toys and still have room to pick up bread and milk on the way home.  I also liked that there was no struggle to try and get things into the basket as the chair sits quite high on the frame.

Would you choose this product to win?

I loved that the pushchair came with a footmuff as this is often an extra that you have to pay for with your push chair, however the zip closing stops at the leg rest and there is nowhere for the top of the foot muff to attach to the frame. This meant there was no protective cover over my baby, so I wouldn’t say it was suitable from birth. I also found the hood of the pram to be a little flimsy and found that it did not remain in place. I did try to unzip the hood and extend it which seemed to help, but when the seat was reclined to its flat position, the hood quickly fell back. I also felt the pushchair was extremely heavy and bulky, having had a C-section, I would have been unable to lift this in to the boot of my car at six weeks post-partum.

What changes would you make to this product?

If there was one thing that had to be changed about this product, I would look at the design of the hood.  As a mum walking with one baby it was annoying to have to keep putting the hood back up, however, I think if I had a second child to look after at the same time and was holding their hand, it would take forever to get anywhere as I would have to stop constantly.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

The MIXX is easy to manoeuver over a variety of terrains, including fields, whilst still feeling safe and sturdy. It is easy to fold up and down once you have figured out how to do it, and I imagine this would be a good pushchair to travel with if you were looking for something compact but sturdy.

How has this product made your life easier?

The MIXX pushchair is stylish and surprisingly light for its appearance. It feels sturdy, looks comfortable and my daughter was happy to be pushed around in it - which is saying something! Most of all, for me it was the fact that it folded neatly into a small compact suitcase size, making it great to fit in my car.

Would you choose this product to win?

I would choose this pushchair to win an award, as it met everything I was looking for. It was compact to travel with, it was stylish, it had a good level of storage space and my daughter seemed very happy to be strapped into it and pushed around. The fact that it feels sturdy over a variety of terrains is a great bonus.

What changes would you make to this product?

I would make the instructions a bit clearer, as it took me a while to work out how it folds and unfolds.
