ABC Design Mamba Travel System

The ABC Design Mamba Plus was released in 2015. It is a successor of the ABC Design Mamba Travel System. The four-wheeled Mamba Plus is a “brother” of the three-wheeler Cobra Plus. The chassis is equipped with large foam wheels and an adjustable suspension system. The front wheels locking mechanism is foot operated, eliminating the need to bend. The central brake is now located on the reversible leatherette handlebar. Another advantage of this stroller is the even larger shopping basket with easy access, able to carry all of your bits and pieces. Once folded, the chassis can be manually locked using a locking strap.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

The ABC Design Mamba Travel System was so easy to collapse and folds very neatly for such a big pushchair. As a tall mama I loved the extendible handle and that my baby or toddler was seated quite high up when either in carrycot or seat mode. Loved the huge seat, my 3 year old loved the space she had and it was so light to push even one handed. The mosquito net on the carrycot was a nice touch. Fabrics were great quality and the mattress in the carrycot was soft and breathable and my baby slept well in it. Overall simple to use pushchair with everything you would need in a travel system to take you from birth right though to pre-school.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

The huge shopping basket meant that I could take my baby straight from the car using the car seat and clip it onto the frame and go into the supermarket, getting a decent amount of shopping into the shopping basket... all without having to wake my baby and put her in a cold shopping trolley. Super quick fold meant I had it collapsed and in the car boot in no time. Folds very compact for such a large buggy.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

Slight niggle was that the back wheels were really far apart which meant I couldn't get it through my patio door without opening both doors. Shopping basket wasn't very accessible when carrycot is in use.

I would recommend this ABC Design Mamba Travel System to fellow mums because it so easy to use, it comes with a spacious carrycot with thick luxurious fabrics (including a built in mosquito net) the main seat is spacious and very comfortable for your toddler, it's so easy to push and the basket is massive so fab for putting shopping in. The car seat it comes with is great too and clips onto the frame so you don't have to wake your baby.

The huge shopping basket on the ABC Design Mamba Travel System is fab and allows you to put all your shopping under the buggy leaving both hands free to push the buggy. The built in mosquito net on the carry cot also acts as a bit of a sunshade and is fab the way it folds into a hidden pocket, such a great idea. The seat can face you or it can face forward and is so easy to change back and forth. The hinge on the buggy bar also makes it really easy to put your toddler in and out of the seat without having to negotiate the bar or remove it.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

I am not the tallest person so and the buggy handle came up very high on me so perhaps if I were to change something about the buggy it would be a lower handle bar height.

The carrycot of the ABC Design Mamba Travel System is lovely and spacious with lots of room. The mattress in the carrycot was lovely and padded but covered in a mesh which made it lovely and breathable keeping baby cool on hot days. The main seat is massive and fitted my two year old with plenty of room to grow. The seat sits very high up which she really liked and as the buggy was nice and tall my husband really enjoyed pushing it. The hood is huge and really protects your little one from the sun but there is also an added sunshade that unzips from within the hood for when the sun is very bright. The quality of the pram is excellent and it felt very sturdy when pushing. The buggy frame also folds lovely and flat so doesn't take up as much room as you would think for a buggy of this size.

This buggy is so simple to use, the seat can face out or towards you which my toddler loved. The best thing is the huge shopping basket, it holds a lot of shopping and is easily accessed. The raincover also covers the shopping basket which meant my shopping didn't get wet when it rained either.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

If I could change something it would be the harness on the main seat which only seems to have the one harness height. My babies are starting to get bored in the carrycot now they can sit up and they would love to go in the main seat soon but the harness height is too high on their shoulders.
