The Bébécar Hip Hop travel system comes with a comfortable carry cot and a good-sized car seat.

The carrycot has air vents and a sun visor that folds out although the cover is quite stiff.

The car seat includes a newborn insert, which means that it can safely accommodate tiny babies. It’s not heavy and is fairly easy to install (although no Isofix base).

The pushchair is manoeuvrable, with adjustable suspension. The folding mechanism is a complicated but the basket is decent and the plastic on the seat and bar is a good way to protect the fabric from wear and tear (as well as the antics of active tots).

A  quality travel system that is both functional and practical.
