2014 – Shortlised for 'Best Travel System Award!

The Cosatto Giggle Travel System includes a carrycot, car sear and lovely, padded pushchair. It’s lightweight, with decent manoeuvrability. The parts are easy to assemble and removing and changing the units is uncomplicated. The car seat fits securely into the chassis but the carrycot is difficult to lay flat; it’s also a bit small.

The pushchair is comfortable, with recline functionality and the basket is a good size. The pocket in back of seat is also a nifty feature. It folds compactly and fits into smaller car boots. The three wheels might take a little getting used to (it has a tendency to tip ad lean) but the system is a smooth ride on the whole. A cup holder would be a nice addition but the gender-neutral colours are great, and so is the wipe-clean fabric.

A good, looking, functional travel system that is money well spent.

Review

Bright and colourful the Giggle impresses with its bold design, but also with plenty of practical features. Its pretty good value, too, because so many extras come as part of the package.

The Giggle really stands out for its lively designs – there are six to choose from – and most of our testers loved how fun, bright and funky it looked. It’s reasonably priced, and comes with loads of extras, including a changing bag, footmuff and rain cover. It’s light, compact and easy to fit in most car boots as you can remove the wheels, and it works well as an urban travel system because it’s so light and nippy.

Despite the lockable front swivel wheels it fared less well over rough terrain however. A big plus point is that the Giggle is very versatile, with height adjustable handles, several recline positions and a carrycot suitable to use from birth. The car seat and carrycot are well padded and easy to take on and off the frame.

It’s a shame though that the car seat doesn’t feel very sturdy when attached to the pushchair frame. We think that it’s a fun and practical travel system with lots of useful extras at a reasonable price.
