Would you recommend this to other mums?
Katie: I would recommend the journey to someone who has a smaller budget and is unable to buy a more expensive one. It's great it has everything you need for birth upwards including a car seat. Its very simple to use and the handle has separate height settings which is great as it allows my eight-year-old to help push the pushchair.
Kate: The biggest selling point of the journey is its competitive price without a big compromise on the quality of the product. It is perfect for first-time mums who want a stylish and smooth running pram for around town. The extendable hood is perfect for giving shade when out on walks and perfect for the hot summer weather we had.
Jane: It's very easy to put together. The instructions are simple and easy to follow. It feels very secure and sturdy when it's being used. It tackled off-roading on our local country park walk and handled the terrain well. It's an attractive looking piece of kit with its chrome chassis. It looks like it's built to last. The basket has an extra fold out pocket which is handy for snacks as it saves getting them lost in the bigger section when you have shopping in there. I'm very impressed with the convertible bassinet/seat.
How did this product make your life easier?
Mariana: Since trying this out it has been far easier to go shopping. It is small, light and easy to assemble and put down when out and about. It fits comfortably in a classic mini too. I like this travel system as it is easy to use and looks smart. My baby looks comfortable. I like that the car seat fits on the pushchair and does not feel too heavy compared to other systems. It has various covers and the hood is big meaning my baby is covered from the sun. The basket underneath is easy to use and is a good size.
Katie: It's an amazing pram. I really loved it! As a family, we found it easy to use and super lightweight especially when moving it in and out of the car. It makes small trips comfortable and pleasant. My little girl loves it. It has a higher seated position than some other prams and she loved being able to see all around!
Elizabeth: I would recommend this pram as it gives you everything you need from a travel system. The pram is a great stylish design and is easily foldable. It even fitted in the boot of my car which is rare! The car seat was simple to use. It felt strong and protective and the matching nappy bag had some usefully sized compartments
Would you choose this product to win?
Eleanor: The one thing that really makes this product stand out is the fact that it is really lightweight. This product should win not only because of it being lightweight but also because the design looks great. It is a good price for the travel system.
Anna: It’s definitely a contender. I have doubts about how long the wheels will last, as they already had stone dents in them after one trip out. However, the fact that you get a lovely, comfortable pram and a car seat for this price mean it’s going to be hard to beat. I think it definitely rates up there with the big brand names.
Anna: I would choose the Journey above all others on the market. It is such good value and doesn't compromise on quality. It is a fraction of the price of other brands and is a lot easier to store. The car seat is easy to use and click on to the system so I would definitely choose this product over comparable ones.
What changes would you make to this product?
Abigail: The only thing I would change is to make the car seat lighter. It would make carrying it around much easier as the baby gets heavier. I love that it feels sturdy and makes it feel more reliable if there were some sort of accident to happen. But I still think in hindsight I’d choose a lighter model over the heavier ones.
Rachel: The main thing I would change on this travel system would be the seat unit. The seat needs to be a lot bigger to accommodate a growing child. A travel system needs to last to three-years-old and unfortunately, this really won’t last much past two. My sons head was very near the top of the hood and he really didn’t look comfortable.
Hayley: The one thing I would change about this product would be making it a little easier to move up and down the curbs. I had a few issues getting stuck as going up onto pavements so better suspension might help this. I do feel for the price this is a fantastic bargain all in one travel system and everything you need is included.
