Aldi Mamia sensitive baby wipes at a glance:

Mamia Baby Wipes are made from an extra soft cloth for all baby cleansing and changing occasions. The mild, fragrance free, liquid contains natural Aloe Vera and is perfect for gently cleansing baby's delicate skin. Suitable for use from birth and dermatologically accredited by the Skin Health Alliance.

How did this product make your life easier?

Vicky: These wipes come in plastic lightweight packaging with the opening contained by hard plastic that clips open and closed. This is ideal as often the thin plastic covers on other brands breaks off exposing the wipes and causing them to dry out. It allows the wipes to stay nice and wet for a long time. They are very portable and are a standard size to fit into changing bags.

Jasmine: This product is great as it is sensitive on my babies skin. My daughter suffers from nappy rash and this wipe is sensitive but it also is effective at cleaning her up. It’s great for getting rid of sticky substances on hands and face too as well as cleaning her during nappy changes. The pack is a decent size and fits well in the holders I have. The Wipes come out one by one which means not wasting any by 5 coming out at once.

Jessica: The Mamia sensitive baby wipes make my life easier as a mum because they are a good size. I have found that out of all the baby wipes I have tried these are bigger than others therefore you only need to generally use one for each nappy change. They are also stronger than others wipes and don't rip like some other brands.

Would you recommend this to other parents?

Chantal: I would recommend these sensitive wipes to other mothers and caregivers as they are affordable. The wipes affordability is not there only selling point they are moist with out being too wet which means you don’t have to take the additional step of also having to pay dry the babies diaper area. The wipes are sensitive which gives parents peace of mind about using these on newborn babies as you know they are less likely to cause an allergic reaction.

Jasmine: I would recommend this product as it’s gentle and cost effective. It’s a great design and makes emergency clean up operations a lot easier to handle as you can grab this pack and know it’ll handle the job plus it’s not expensive to buy and use. Gentle enough to use to wipe newborn faces too. You can also buy multi boxes which is useful as they never go to waste.

Jessica: I would recommend the Mamia sensitive baby wipes to other mums for numerous reasons. 1. They are larger ham other wipes so you don't need more than one for most nappy changes. 2. They are stronger than other brands. 3. They don't irritate my children's skin whereas other brands, even when marketed as sensitive, have caused my children to get rashes.

Would you choose this product above all others on the market?

Helen: Yes I would, they're a great product and I really can't find anything to knock them down on, if anything, my only complaint is that they're not biodegradable, if they could be made more environmentally friendly that would be an amazing bonus to what is otherwise a brilliant product. Hopefully the people who make them can do this one day.

Jasmine: Yes I would as it’s so cost effective and because they are great to use. I have confidence in the product and I know it helps when nappy rash strikes. I know I can get out of the package exactly what I need and that I will waste little, they also reseal very well and don’t dry out like other more expensive products tend to do.

Chantal: I would most definitely choose this product as it offers great value for money. In addition to the great value for money they do the job they are advertised to. The wipes have the correct moisture level to effectively clean dirty diapers without any issues. As a result of this you don’t have to use a lot of wipes per diaper change.

What changes would you make to this product?

Faye: Given that they brought my toddler out in eczema that required hydrocortisone to clear it, I would change the ingredients to make this wipe more sensitive and therefore suitable for a wider group of children. I really like the design and packaging of the wipes but the fact it brought out a reaction on my daughters face means its a no go for me!

Jasmine: Bigger packs if possible the option to have a jumbo sized pack would be great to have. Other than that I’m really happy with it as a product so I can’t really think of any other improvements that could be made. Maybe a lightly scented option if the sensitivity could be maintained but it doesn’t really need it.

Vicky: Given the current ecological climate it would be nice if the packaging on these could be recyclable and the wipes themselves biodegradable. I suspect more and more parents will move towards reusable wipes but if these were more recyclable and better for the environment, more parents would consider due to ease of use.
