At a glance:

The clippable lid is great, meaning the wipes don’t dry out, but we wish it was recyclable. Our panel of mum testers loved that these wipes were not overly wet, meaning you can dress your baby right away without worrying about nappy rash.

What they say:

“Our Little Angels Sensitive Cotton Soft Wipes have been specially developed with your baby's needs in mind. They're fragrance free and enriched with a gentle lotion to help prevent nappy rash, and contain aloe vera and cottonseed extract to help care for baby's soft skin. They're also hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested, ensuring they're just right for your little angel - and the rest of the family too.”

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would definitely recommend these baby wipes because firstly they smell great. Secondly, they come out individually rather than all stuck together which means you are not fussing about trying to put a wad of them back into the pack when in a nappy or puke emergency. Thirdly and probably most importantly, they aren't too wet; I found with some brands the wipes were very moist and left my baby's bum too wet. Sometimes this led to his bottom being sore. The Asda wipes are just the right wetness to clean up messes without leaving bottoms soggy. No one likes a soggy bottom!

How did this product make your life easier?

Baby wipes are essential. What makes these wipes so easy to use is that they aren't tightly packed meaning you pull a single wipe out rather than four or five (which seems to happen with other products). This makes bum changes quick and easy.

Would you choose this product to win?

Yes, they should definitely win a Mother & Baby award! They are extremely good value for money compared with other brands. Parents don't want to spend a fortune, especially on baby wipes and so these are perfect.

What changes would you make to this product?

Nothing – they smell great, they are easy and quick to use and are fantastic value for money.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend this pack because the quality of the wipes is to a good standard and they are user-friendly. Also the comfort of each wipe really suits my baby, it isn't too abrasive to use and it's got a cotton like feel to it and cleaning up explosive nappies is much easier.

How did this product make your life easier?

This product is much easier to get out of the packaging, as I’ve found with some baby wipes when you try to pull one out, you get a lot more. These save time as I no longer have to poke unwanted wipes back into the packet to reuse again later. It also has a handy re-sealing system being plastic.

Would you choose this product to win?

Yes I would definitely use these wipes over any other product as I think it has an overall good rating, the packaging is friendly the baby wipe itself is soft light cotton.

What changes would you make to this product?

I feel that the packaging could be set a little bit tighter so you can fit into your bag and it can double as a handy travel size pack. It also would be good if their plastic wrap was recyclable, with being a mum and going through so many, it would be handy to be able to recycle and not add to the general waste bin.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would definitely recommend this product to a fellow mum. Babies go through so many wipes and I found the value for money of this product fantastic. These wipes are much less than more popular brands such as Pampers for example. I also found these wipes strong and thick. They were also very kind to my babies bum leaving no redness.

How did this product make your life easier?

This product made my life easier as the wipes are thick and strong. They did not lose their shape while wiping my babies bum and I love that I can open this product easily with one hand and the wipes separate easily. They also have a clip lid which does not come off or get stuck while changing my baby’s nappy – this is a very good feature.

I do not shop at Asda as it is out of the way for me, but if I lived closer I would buy this product again. I find the packaging nice to look at and the lid is a great selling point for me. They also have a lovely fragrance.

What changes would you make to this product?

If I was going to change one thing with this product it would be the size of the package. I find the actual size of the package very bulky. When you're out and about with your baby, you need a pack of wipes with you which are thin so they don't take up too much space in your baby bag. Unfortunately these are a bit too big for my bag and this means I would only use these wipes at home. If they were more compact this product would be perfect.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Yes, the plastic lid is especially good because the wipes never dry out. The Asda Little Angels wipes are really soft for babies’ bums, and have a lotion on them that helps stop them getting sore. They smell really nice, and clean messes really quickly and easily from baby poop to chocolatey hands. I didn’t think they would clean my baby’s face when she had her first spaghetti bolognaise and was covered in an orange stain, but they did very easily.

How did this product make your life easier?

I love the plastic cover that stops the wipes drying out. The cover is really easy to open with one hand in emergencies, instead of trying to find were the tabs are on thin plastic covers.

Would you choose this product to win?

Yes I would choose this product above other leading brands. I think the product should win because of the plastic cover that stops the wipes drying and is also easily opened in messy emergencies. There is nothing worse than grabbing your wipes to find out they have dried out because the sticky tab has come off in the changing bag. I think they smell lovely and they are really soft on baby and young children’s faces. My eight-month-old and four-year-old girls usually get rashes and eczema from fragranced products, but they have been fine with these wipes.

What changes would you make to this product?

If I could change anything about these wipes it would be that when you pull one wipe out, the one below would follow up so you can easily grab the next one. I would also change the packaging as at the moment I personally think it is a bit plain, with not enough colour.

The wipes are sensitive enough for newborn skin while having a wonderful fresh fragrance leaving your baby feeling and smelling clean ready to carry on causing mischief. At a very affordable price, these wipes are a must have for your changing area, nappy bag and anywhere else you may need to stash a packet.

How did this product make your life easier?

The packaging has been well designed and is excellent for your nappy changing bag because of the resealable clip, rather than just a sticky seal. This means the wipes won't dry out, leaving you with a perfect product right up until the end of the pack.

Would you choose this product to win?

At such a small price point for 64 wipes, this product is a must compared to some of the other brands on the market. They are about half the price of most packets of wipes which seem to have a sticker to seal the packet, which will lose this stick, therefore drying out the wipes towards the end of the packet.

What changes would you make to this product?

The wipes work perfectly and the packaging is great, but the smell of baby wipes always seems to be the same, so for this reason, I think a different fragrance would be nice for a change. Something which would suit both boys and girls and not be over offensive, or maybe something fruity, whilst not changing how delicate they are on your baby's skin.

I would recommend these wipes to parents as they are cheap to buy but do the job really well. They have enough moisture in the wipes to clean up the toughest of messes. Also you don't have to use loads of wipes to clean up a mess meaning they last for a good amount of time. The plastic covering section stops the wipes from becoming dry.

How did this product make your life easier?

I only have to use a few to clean up horrid mess meaning the pack will last me longer. They make the clean up after dinner quick and easy as the wipes have just enough moisture for cleaning both my daughter and her highchair. They also smell lovely leaving my daughter skin with a slight scent of the wipe.

Would you choose this product to win?

I would pick this product over others as these are the wipes I usually buy as I find them really good value for money. The plastic opening section is a big plus for me as it stops wipes from getting dry if you loose the sticky plastic label. This happens with many other brands. I also love how you can tell from the colour of the packaging if they are for sensitive skin or not.

What changes would you make to this product?

I wouldn't change anything about this product as I think they work really well the durability of the wipe is really good meaning they don't fall apart whilst wiping like other brand wipes do. I would love to see this product in a smaller packaging for my daughters changing bag as it can be a little bulky, but this wouldn't stop me using them.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend these wipes because they work effectively and they smell good. When I first opened the packet I thought the smell was quite strong and worried that they perhaps wouldn't be sensitive on my baby's skin but they didn't leave any redness or make the skin dry in any way. I tend to use cotton wool and water mainly but these wipes are very handy to have in your change bag when you're out and about with your child. They also work well for general use- wiping face and hands after meals etc.

How did this product make your life easier?

Wipes always make your life easier as a mother, wipes are convenient and easy to use when changing nappies, wiping faces, hands after meal times, cleaning away any dirt/mud etc. I always carry wipes with me whenever I leave the house- I sometimes use them to give my hands a little refresh. These wipes are good in that they seem to retain the moisture after opening and the fragrance doesn't make your skin dry out- I was concerned about this and how sensitive on the skin they would be, but these wipes are fine.

Would you choose this product to win?

I would choose these fragranced wipes over other fragranced wipes because i believe they are good value, they retain their moisture after opening and until you finish the packet and they are sensitive to baby's skin. However, I predominately use cotton wool and water to wash my baby therefore I personally am more inclined to buy a non fragranced wipe to use for everyday- I feel that the extra sensitive ones are a little kinder and seem softer (perhaps a little more moist too) when I use them on myself and my child.

What changes would you make to this product?

When opening the packet the fragrance is very strong and this definitely made me feel more wary using the product on my baby. Because I normally try to use cotton wool and water I am not a fan on putting anything on my baby's skin that may irritate or dry it. Therefore when I do buy wipes I tend to go for the newborn, sensitive and non fragranced brands (normally the any one that is on offer- I will spend around a £1 on a packet). Therefore if I could change anything it would be to make it a little less fragranced.
