How did this product make your life easier?
Jen: It didn’t. I had nothing but trouble with these nappies. They were stiff and hard to put into my toddler. They instantly looked like he had the wettest nappy going without having it on for longer than 5 minutes. They were small compared to other brands I had used and had to change much more frequently which meant more tantrums because he didn’t want to have his bum changed. We also had several poop explosions which we haven’t had since 6 months old, he’s now 16 months old.
Nirali: Having a wriggling toddler a pull up makes putting the nappy on so easy. In general, pullups are more expensive but looking at the price they have made a pull-up that is not only affordable but also works. We have tried some other brands of pull-ups before and we have had issues with leaks and coverage. However, the little angels brand seem to have kept my little boy dry all night and we have had no leaks or accidents.
Joanne: For a mobile toddler who prefers to stand (or run!) around for nappy change the pull-up design is essential for this age range. The nappy is easily removed with little force but still very secure when in situ. I especially liked the fact the nappies had printed on them ‘back’ thus identifying front and back of the nappy which is not always easy! There were no leaks and overall, the product was very easy to use.
Would you recommend this to other parents?
Joanne: I would recommend this product given the low cost, ease of use and quality of materials used. We had no issues with nappy rash. A simple but effective design feature was the labelling of ‘back’ for the back of the nappy to aid with quick application for a mobile toddler instead of sitting working out which way round the nappy goes whilst said toddler runs away!
Nirali: Using this pull up makes nappy changes to easy on a toddler who just wants to run around and not sit in one place. This is especially handy when out and about as its quick, easy and convenient. The tear sides also make removing the nappy easy
Jen: I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. They were hard work to put on. Stiff, baggy around the crotch area, you could tell they were getting on my toddler's nerves. They were also really hard to rip down the sides when taking them off. We had several pop explosions which we haven’t had for 10 months plus. I really struggled to get along with these nappies.
Would you choose this product above all others on the market?
Nirali: I think this nappy should win because we have tried a competitor brands pull up and the little angels was a lot more comfortable, had better coverage and no leaks. The other brand which we paid for leaks every time we put it on even during the day, so trying to keep him dry overnight was near on impossible. The collaboration with Peppa Pig also makes it fun for kids as it is a very popular cartoon so most kids will be able to familiarise themselves with the cartoon, making nappy changing fun.
Jen: No. I much prefer the Pampers Premium Protection Nappy pants which I have used since birth for my toddler. They have been nothing but brilliant. Whereas the Asda little angels ones cause me nothing but problems. My child had a slight reaction to them. They didn’t hold much liquid at all. He woke up wet through every night I used them. He didn’t like them constantly trying to take them off whereas he is normally fine with a nappy.
Joanne: This was a great product for ease of use, quality of materials, it did its job effectively, with no leaks. The only negative was that the product seemed a little bulky so when wearing the nappy compared to other brands it always appeared quite big or bulky and thus appeared to be full all of the time which it wasn’t.
What changes would you make to this product?
Joanne: The bulkiness of the nappy especially in the undercarriage area as opposed to the waist/elasticated area, it always appeared large and as if the nappy was full when it had just been changed, this sometimes made me think twice about which clothes to put on top of the nappy.
Rachel: The one thing I would say is to have a tab on the back so after taking off you can wrap it over it.
Nirali: The only one thing I missed in this pull up is a tab to secure the nappy bfore disposal. The premium brand has a sticky tab which you can use to secure the ued nappy before your choice of disposal, either in a nappy bin or nappy sack.. However this was missing from the little angels range and that is one thing I would like to see them incorporate. With urine filled nappies it is not so much of an issue but nappies soiled with faecal matter does need to be secured before being disposed and this is one feature which is missing
