At a glance:

These size six nappies are a great fit, with a higher back to help contain the messiest of nappy changes. One of the largest size six nappies on the market, these would definitely be a great choice for bigger babies.

What they say:

"Ocado Ultra Dry nappies combine a super absorbent filling with an extra soft drying-layer to keep your baby comfortable and dry throughout the day and night. Made with ultra soft, stretchy materials to ensure a snug, cosy fit."

Would you recommend this to other mums?

The nappy is lovely and neutral – I really liked the design, as some nappies aren’t in my opinion unisex and this can put me off. These Baby Ocado nappies were such a lovely fit and the cut round the legs was amazing. They were soft and didn’t irritate my daughter’s skin like some others have. I didn’t experience any leaks through the night and would definitely recommend to fellow mums for babies of all ages.

How did this product make your life easier?

The nappy was easy to put on and had really nice elastic sides. Even when she was wriggling around it was easy to correctly fit the nappy – that in turn made my life easier as there were no leaks or running on her skin.

Would you choose this product to win?

I would now definitely buy these nappies above all others. The price was good, the nappies are soft and I really love the design. They do the job really well and in my opinion, my baby was a lot more comfortable in these nappies than she is in other brands. We didn’t experience any nappy rash at all!

What changes would you make to this product?

The only slight change I’d make to these nappies would be to add slightly bigger frills around the legs, as a few times I struggled to get them out for full protection.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would highly recommend these nappies to friends and family, the design was perfect as my child’s nappies always leak, but these nappies are higher at the back, stopping them from leaking. They didn’t rub against my child’s legs so it made them comfortable for her to wear and didn’t leave any rashes.

How did this product make your life easier?

This product does everything I expect and think a nappy should do. It doesn’t leak and the poo doesn’t go up her back like most nappies do. My daughter likes to be on the go all the time and these nappies were great as they didn’t fall down or move at all which is great!

Would you choose this product to win?

Yes, I would be delighted and excited to choose these nappies over others, because they are reliable and comfortable on my child, and I was confident that they won’t leak overnight. I think this product should win because of the length of the nappy on my child’s back prevents the leaking I have experienced with other nappies. The leaking I have mentioned above has resulted in me having to throw out bedding and clothes because I couldn’t get it out of them, so these have definitely been a great discovery for me!

What changes would you make to this product?

If I was change one thing about the product it would be to make the tabs easier to open when trying to put the nappy on. Sometimes I find that there stuck down so hard that when trying to get them open, the nappy rips apart. That said, I have found no faults with the nappies and have found them brilliant to use. I will definitely be buying these again.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Although I love the design of these nappies and I found that they fit my daughter round the waist perfectly, I wouldn't recommend these for overnight use as I found they got very damp overnight and I felt like they were quite close to leaking. Apart from this everything else I liked about this product.

How did this product make your life easier?

This nappy was very easy to use on my daughter. It's not a bulky nappy at all, compared to others on the market that seem to completely fill my changing bag. The design is very gender neutral which I think is nice, as a lot of nappies can be swayed more against one gender. The one thing that I didn't like about this nappy was them feeling so heavy in the morning. I've found some nappies much better in this situation.

Would you choose this product to win?

I wouldn’t choose these nappies to win, due to the fact I didn’t like using them overnight for my baby. That said, the one thing that does stand out with this nappy is how well they fit around my daughter’s waist and legs, whereas with other brands I have difficulty finding the right adjustments before letting my daughter crawl away.

What changes would you make to this product?

The one thing I would change is the crystals or gel used for the absorbency of the nappy. If this was adjusted so that if a child is in one for 12 hours (overnight) and it didn't hang from their bottom this would be a great product.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would definitely recommend these nappies to my friends, the nappy was perfect in every aspect – size, comfort, design and fit. The fact that the nappy lasted a good 5-6 hours before a change was needed was great and something that is handy when out and about, as I do not like changing him in public places if it can be helped. Therefore, this would be a selling point I would tell other mums.

How did this product make your life easier?

My husband and I would both recommend these nappies as they are a brilliant fit – the largest size 6 we have come across in the size 6 nappy range. This is perfect for us as our 8-month-old boy is above average by far for his height and weight. The pattern is unisex on the nappy and the flaps to hold the nappy together stay together well. Even undoing and redoing up the nappy, the flaps stayed stuck in place. We found they lasted a good 5-6 hours per wear before a change was needed. An overnight nappy did leak, but this was on for more than 12 hours (mummy’s fault - forgot to change it in the night!)

Would you choose this product to win?

First and foremost, the large size of the nappy was most appealing to me. The nappies were of great length and width that covered plenty without having to worry about leaks. Compared to other size 6 nappies on the market, this is by far the largest size 6. This is very reassuring for me to know I have an option for my son who is only 8-months-old and will be in nappies for a lot longer yet! The price is a little more than I would like to pay but for the large size of the nappy and good coverage, I would pay it.

What changes would you make to this product?

My husband and I struggled to find any negative comments about these nappies, all in all we would give it a 10 out of 10. If it could compare to Aldi prices then this would be great but for the amount of nappy you get, compared to Aldi size 6, you get more nappy with Ocado, therefore, expect to pay a little more.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend this product to other mums as the nappies are of great quality, the pattern on the nappies is lovely, they seem comfy and my son has had no irritations from them. They keep my son dry when wet and are really easy and quick to change. My son is very wriggly and I can still manage to change him quickly using one of these nappies.

How did this product make your life easier?

I struggle finding nappies that fit my son as he is only 17-months-old and weighs 29 pounds, but I find that most nappies are always too tight around the waist for the size he should be. These nappies fit much better around his waist and even though they are bigger, they did not leak. My son also suffers with allergies and I find if he has a reaction to something he has eaten he suffers with severe diarrhoea for a week afterwards. Most nappies I have used prior to these haven’t managed to do their job well and have leaked out the sides and back. These however, were brilliant as they didn’t leak at all. They have saved me money as I am always either washing soiled clothes or throwing ruined clothes away however I haven’t had to while using these nappies.

Would you choose this product to win?

I think this nappy should win as I have tried several different nappies prior to these from Pampers, Aldi, Asda and Tesco and I have had issues with them all, they have either leaked, given my baby rashes or not kept them dry overnight and don’t hold well when soiled. This nappy has done every job I would want from it, the sizing is more accurate than other nappies and I like the feel of them, they are soft and they have converted me, I will be now buying these nappies from now on!

What changes would you make to this product?

The only thing I would change about these nappies would be the sticky fasteners – I would make them a bit stickier as my son can pull them off quite easily. This is only a problem when he runs off straight after I have put his nappy on and he then tries to take it off!
