At a glance:

The Mamia nappies are dermatologically tested, hypoallergenic and made with fibres from a sustainable forestry initiative. They are extra soft and breathable for day and night comfort and come with re-sealable fastener tapes and leak protection that lasts up to 12 hours.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Fanny: We would definitely recommend them. Though they are cheap they are not poor quality with the double gusset and soft seams. They don’t have the off-putting chemical smell that other brands have. They last the whole night and don’t give my baby nappy rash.

Anna: Based on value for money alone I would recommend these as they perform as well as well as any of the leading brands at about half the price. A win-win! We have had no worries with nappy rashes and even after a night in the Mamia nappies, the skin feels dry to touch. The nappy must be highly effective at locking moisture away from their delicate skin.

Sabah: I would recommend the Mamia nappies because they are leakproof, appear comfortable during wear for my little one, have an attractive design and offer excellent value for money when compared to similar products on the market. They are constantly raved about within mummy circles. Whenever I ask a fellow mum for advice on nappies I am always met with a resounding recommendation for Mamia nappies!

How did this product make your life easier?

Sekina: We have used this nappy range since my son was born. We have tried other brands but we always come back to Mamia. The nappies from this range perform extremely well. They appear comfortable, are easy to use, fit my son well and stay in place. They are also absorbent and we have not had any leaks. The nappies are cheap which is another positive.

Samantha: This product makes my life easier because it is saving me money, while not scrimping on any of the quality of a leading brand. I cannot say that these nappies are quicker to put on, keep him dryer or are more comfortable and breathable than other brands as they seem exactly the same. The only difference is in my wallet. Why would you pay more, when you can get the same quality for less?

Emma: I am so happy with these nappies. I drive an extra 10 minutes to my local Aldi to purchase them. My little one doesn't have any leaks and I can easily put her in her nappy at 7pm and know that when she wakes the next day she won't have leaked which wasn't the case with the previous brand I was using (it saves on washing). I was sceptical when people said these were the best as they were so cheap but I just wish I had tried these earlier instead of paying for more expensive brands which let me down.

Would you choose this product to win?

Amy: Yes, I will definitely be continuing to buy these. They are so much more cost effective than other nappies on the market which is particularly important when you get through so many nappy changes a day! We have preferred them to other leading nappy ranges on the market and they are a fraction of the cost. The multipacks are even better value and it is convenient to have a stock at home.

Fanny: We would happily choose this product above all others after trying several brands. For the price and quality, these are good value. My baby is happy and comfortable in them.

Anna: Yes I would choose this product to win. I am now a convert to Mamia nappies and I will continue to buy them. The price, the design and usability of this product, all make it the best on the market. The babies are happy and I have no worries about nappy rash, which I know can sometimes be contributed to by having damp skin in nappies.

What changes would you make to this product?

Sabah: I would love to see the same nappy in a pull up/pant format for growing and wriggly toddlers. It is not always easy to stick on the Velcro sides as they’re constantly moving. I understand the range does this in the larger sizes however my little one is on the smaller side and still in size 4 nappies which do not come in a pull up/pant form.

Sekina: I would not change anything about the nappy apart from perhaps a slimmer design as it seems to be slightly bulkier than some nappies and therefore takes up more space in my changing bag.

Samantha: I have thought long and hard about what I would change about these nappies, but have come up a blank. They are well designed, good quality and are available for a purse-friendly sum. What is there not to like?
