These Superdrug nappies have a plain design, with secure Velcro tabs, easily competing with the leading brands; however not as soft as some nappies. Absorbent and good value for money.

I would recommend My Little Star nappies to a fellow mum as they have done the job well. The nappy was used for both day and nighttime use and there was only one incident where there was a small amount of number 2 seepage up the back of my daughter but I'm not sure any nappy would have contained that particular movement!

How did this product make your life easier?

The right nappy is very important to me as I have twin babies so keeping the washing and accident clean-ups to a minimum is imperative. I have tried a wide range of nappies and they all seem to cope well with containing mess from escaping through the leg holes but not so well when seeping up the back. This nappy almost contained one of the biggest messes I have seen (!) the seepage was small enough to clean quickly and it didn't get on to anything else which was a real bonus.

I would say the performance is on a par with the best I have tried but is not the best value for money I have seen. I do however prefer the plain style of this nappy. The illustrations on it are minimal which I like as colourful characters and pictures tend to encourage my daughters to pick and play with them when they are just in their nappies which isn't ideal.

What changes would you make to this product?

As I have said above I am happy with the performance, style and quality of this nappy but for me to use it on a regular basis the cost would need to come down. I would definitely buy these if they were on offer or if they offered a deal for bulk buying as I tend to buy a few cases at a time as I have twins. The difference in price per nappy really adds up when buying for 2 babies.

I loved that the nappy was long lasting without leaks. This is a must for a baby that sleeps through the night and drinks a lot of water. My daughter didn't have any issues with the nappy (normally she would pull at it if it was irritating her but nothing.) They were quick and easy to use. We took them on holiday with us and they were still perfect even on the beach and in the water. They were also easy to fit in our (already full) suitcase which was also a bonus!

How did this product make your life easier?

My Little Star nappies made my life easier because it was quick and easy to change. It made nappy changes with my little wriggler a lot easier. I could easily change her on my knee if I was out somewhere without a changing room. They were easily transportable which was a huge bonus. I also seemed to be changing the nappy less than I normally would which was also a huge bonus and we also had a reduction in nappy rash which I was very pleased with.

I believe the fit of the nappy was excellent (in fact when we were out one night and no toilets in sight, I snuck one on to my very tall 3 year old and it fitted her perfectly and didn't leak with her either). My youngest had a lot of room to move in the nappy and was not restricted in the slightest (which helped when she was dancing.) Another thing I liked was that my daughter bum shuffles very often and often nappies can look worn but these did not.

What changes would you make to this product?

I would make the Velcro straps a lot stronger. On the first nappy I used from the packet (although I admit I was in a rush and this could have contributed) the Velcro strap snapped and the nappy leaked. However, I used the rest of the nappies and didn't have the leaking issue again but did often feel like the Velcro strap would snap when I was on nappy changes.

These were nice nappies, quite slimline and with good neutral designs. The sticky bits fastened well and they were stretchy enough around the legs - really inoffensive. This meant they were easy to put on and I can't imagine anyone objecting to the design, unless they wanted something more exciting, I suppose.

How did this product make your life easier?

Disposable nappies are useful because they let you travel light as it's easy to carry a few spares and they're not even massive when full. It's useful to have quite a slimline nappy because it increases the range of clothes you can fit over it. Also neutral design good if you have boys and girls and mind about how they look.

I didn't find it the best disposable nappy I've used, in fact to my mind it was lower quality than the supermarket nappies I generally buy. While it contained poo quite well, there were some wee leaks that seemed to come not from the sides but from wee literally soaking through the whole nappy - not quite absorbent enough for my heavy wetting toddler.

What changes would you make to this product?

I'd do something to increase the absorbency, even if it made them a little bulkier, or even smellier. These nappies didn't work for me at night time, and I was even cautious about having them on for a long trip out in the day, as my boy ended up feeling slightly damp around the bottom after more than a couple of hours.
