The TotsBots Bamboozle Nappy at a glance:

Our panel of mum testers loved the bright, colourful colours of the Bamboozle Stretch and thought the nappy was great value for money. This nappy has a snug fit due to the poppers, but can take a little while to dry as it is so absorbent.

This product is also featured in our article on the best reusable nappies.

Here’s what our parents thought, read their review here...

How did this product make your life easier?

Annika Burgess says: "I loved that I wasn't throwing away nappies and helping out the environment that way. It also saves money long term. It was so good to quickly put on the nappy, knowing that my toddler wouldn’t leak in the night or be left with marks on her legs in the morning. The waterproof layer was also stretchy which helped with fit. The velcro was strong enough to not require repeated fitting. No explosions either! Liked that it fitted my toddler and my newborn too."

Georgina Dinsdale says: "I was a little unsure about trying reusable nappies at first as I thought they would be difficult and messy to use but these nappies have actually made the transition very easy. They were extremely easy to use and my little boy remained dry throughout the night which I was really surprised at as even with some of the top branded disposable nappies this hasn't always been the case."

Samantha Hewitt says: "The product at first took some practice. I ended up practicing on a doll as my daughter got frustrated when I was putting it on. However, once in a routine and getting used to them, I didn’t find it made my life easier. It took more time to get it all ready then putting a disposable nappy on. I loved applying them though as I knew it was better for the environment."

Would you recommend this product to other parents?

Chloe Hopkin says: "I would recommend this product to a friend or fellow mum as using them is good for the environment and it can help them save money, by not having to buy so many disposable nappies. They're really good quality and I really like the design of them. The bag that came with them, to put the dirty nappies in, was really useful."

Jessica Johnson says:  "I would recommend these nappies because not only are they just as easy to put on as any other nappy, they are long-lasting due to their excellent quality and they are so much more environmentally friendly. You feel like you are doing something to protect the planet for your children. I really liked that they were ethically sourced fabrics - my baby hardly ever gets a rash anymore! It took me a little while to work out how to use them - the instructions were really helpful but now they are quick and easy! They have a lovely, elephant design which my baby loves to look at! They are easy to wash as all other washing in the house and the wash bag means the design isn’t damaged in any way! I would buy some more - 3 didn’t quite seem enough and having more would make my life even easier with the washing and my husband being at work for long hours."

Joanna Keady says: "Yes I would definitely recommend this to other parents the only reservation would be if your baby is a particularly heavy wetter. The designs and colour range are bright and cute with a lovely bold animal prints. The nappies are lovely and soft and the cover too is soft both appearing to be well made. The velcro makes it easy for anyone to use. I held off submitting this review until my husband had put her nappy on and he managed just fine and she had a dry night! There are washing tabs for the Velcro to use when putting in the washing machine to stop the Velcro catching other fabrics Totbots seem to have thought of everything. Nappies are easy to clean along with my other reusable nappies. They do take some time to dry 24-36 hrs to air dry so you do really need 5-7 to be able to rotate but this is understandable given the level of absorbency during the night which you would not want to be compromised."

Would you choose this product above all others on the market?

Carys Lewis says: "I am definitely considering getting more reusable nappies now I have tried these, they are really high quality and very reliable. It’s nice to know you are helping the environment out by using them. I don’t know how other reusable brands compare but I am definitely impressed by them in comparison with disposable nappies."

Annika Lewis says: "Yes! We use another product for night time but found its rather tight for our toddler. But this nappy hasn't left a single mark on either kid and fits comfortably. It's also so easy to put on and use. I love that it comes in different patterns and colours too and that it fits a range of children meeting different needs in absorpancy."

Georgina Dinsdale says: "I thought these nappies were great! The variety in designs, the choices of day/night nappies, the way they wash really well would all contribute to me thinking that this product should do extremely well. Trying these night nappies has been so successful it has persuade me to switch completely to reusable nappies during the day too and so far I have been extremely pleased with how easy they are to use!"

What changes would you make to this product?

Samantha Hewitt says: "If I could change one thing, it would be a picture diagram of how to apply. It would make it a lot easier to apply. As I’ve never used something like this, I needed something easy to follow. My daughter is small and I didn’t realise about the poppers to adjust the size. Everything else was fantastic. It absorb everything well. Washed well and kept the moisture from my babies bum."

Chloe Hopkin says: "If I could change one thing about this product it's that the instructions are not clear enough on what layers are needed and what order. I was unsure as to when/if the fleece liners were always needed for every nappy as an essential or if they were just a nice to have and what order I needed to put the different layers in. I had to look on their website for instructions. They're also a little bit bulky (my baby is quite skinny) so they did swamp him a bit and could've done with being a bit smaller, especially the night nappy."

Jessica Johnson says: "The way they look under clothes - maybe they could be made slightly more light weight to reduce this? They looked even bigger when fill and ready to change. I had to squeeze clothes over them which actually had plenty of space due to this. I know this is the same with lots of reusable nappies so I am talking about this rather than the brand which is wonderful!"
