Would you recommend this to other mums?

After having used disposable nappies for so long, reusables initially seemed quite daunting, but in the end, they were so simple to use. I no longer have to worry about running out of nappies or the effect some disposables can have on my daughter’s skin. She has super sensitive skin and these are the most natural option, saving me so much time and money on nappy creams and washes.

How did this product make your life easier?

Once the process of using them is understood, these nappies make your life so much easier. No more nappy runs in the middle of the night and the designs are so cute, especially when babies are wandering around in nothing but, in the summer.

Would you choose this product to win?

I think this product should win, the designs are by far the best options on the market and the nappies are so simple to wash. I have had no leaks at all, after three weeks of use already. What a great product!

What changes would you make to this product?

Using the disposable nappy liners was a bit tricky, it was difficult to get them into place when baby was wriggling around. This could be improved.

Tested by mum Nadia Saeed for the Mother & Baby awards 2018:

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Yes definitely. They come in a variety of designs and colours for both genders, which are all gorgeous! They can be used from birth, so save you a lot of money in the long run. Not having to buy tons of disposable nappies saves you space and you’re also doing your bit to help the environment!

How did this product make your life easier?

This product makes my life easier as I don't have to worry about buying nappies when I'm out and constantly having to check how many I have left at home. It’s perfect because I just bring out nappy liners when I’m on the go, which are tiny and don’t take up much space at all.

Would you choose this product to win?

Although these nappies take a while to get used to, I would recommend them as a product because I love how much money can be saved. They should definitely win a Mother & Baby award – I think these nappies are the future as they're great for the environment!

What changes would you make to this product?

I would change the price of the nappies as, although they save money in the long run, people will be less likely to spend one large amount initially. So perhaps lowering the price slightly would be good!

Tested by mum Laura Tomlinson for the Mother & Baby awards 2018:

Would you recommend this to other mums?

These are so much better than disposable nappies – they are compact and really do last all night. Washing them is easy too as you only have to change the lining inside. The design is lovely and colourful and the whole thing is super convenient to put together due to the poppers.

How did this product make your life easier?

Life is certainly easier as there is less mess to clean up – the nappy just goes in the washing machine after use. You can get these in different, gender-specific colours and they are a lot cheaper in the long run than buying masses of disposable nappies! My baby seemed really comfortable and this is the most important element for me.

Would you choose this product to win?

I think this is a quick and easy way to use nappies that are clean and eco-friendly, we need more environmentally friendly products in the world. I have encouraged my friends to buy these as they are so soft on baby’s skin, absorb so much liquid and look great – they should win!

What changes would you make to this product?

It would be great if the product came with a little carry bag to make it easy to store dirty nappies when on the go. Overall, a fabulous product that has made a difference to our lives!

Tested by mum Jade Hurrell for the Mother & Baby awards 2018:

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend this product to other parents. After the initial outlay of cost, they would work out a lot cheaper than disposable nappies, although you would need quite a few to make sure you have enough. They are very soft and look comfortable to wear. They also separate my child's legs more than a disposable nappy, which is great.

How did this product make your life easier?

I enjoyed using these nappies on my child for the short time I was trialling them for. The nappies start to become porous once they have been washed a few times, which is a shame as we couldn’t use them for very long. However, they are easy to put on my child and are nice and soft.

Would you choose this product to win?

I’m not sure because I have never tried any other reusable nappies, so I have nothing to compare it to. However, in relation to disposables, they are more hassle but I think it’s worth it, in terms of saving money and helping the environment.

What changes would you make to this product?

I would make them more durable so that I could use them for longer.

Tested by mum Cheryl Saunders for the Mother & Baby awards 2018:

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Yes. In the long run, these reusable nappies save me money and time. I don’t have to keep running out for emergency nappy runs anymore, which as a parent is always a win! The laundry powder that came with the nappies is brilliant and the designs are fab.

How did this product make your life easier?

The product stores away very neatly and is easy to use and to wash. The nappies do require a lot of washing before initial use, but it’s worth it to ensure that they work effectively. In terms of design, the nappies are bold, eye catching and lovely. Much more exciting and fun than typical nappies! The environmental benefits are also a real plus. Also, the laundry powder that came with the nappies was fabulous, smelt amazing and made everything so clean and fresh.

Would you choose this product to win?

Potentially, although I am not aware of the competition. They look great and do what they say they will, but I did have a few problems with leaking. However, the more I washed them, the less leaks I had. I would definitely buy some more, and would absolutely buy the laundry powder as it was the best I've ever used, without question.

What changes would you make to this product?

I found that they needed eight to ten washes before they worked really effectively. This was quite time-consuming. However, I did love the product!

I have never considered using cloth nappies but now I couldn't go back to using disposables all of the time! They are so easy to use, they wash easily and dry really well, they're super absorbent and really comfortable for your baby. They don't leave any irritation marks on your baby's skin and they don't allow for leaks. They are super super cute and they have lots of choice of colours and designs.

How did this product make your life easier?

You can put them in amongst your usual daily washing load, no need to be washed in a certain way so saves you time! Makes the nappy change routine a lot easier as baby likes to pick which nappy they want to wear and they look and feel more like pants than a nappy. No need to worry about running out of nappies as you can just give them a quick wash.

Would you choose this product to win?

This has totally changed my views on cloth nappies. You can tell that a lot of time and thought has gone into designing each nappy and the materials used are of very good quality - especially the inside which is very soft on baby's bottom. You can easily adjust the size of the nappy too so you don't need to buy different sizes per age. The instructions are very easy to follow.

What changes would you make to this product?

If I could or had to change anything it would have to be the price as I think any cloth nappy user would want to own more than one so they don't constantly have the washing machine on and it will work out expensive to buy a few! Also, the fleece/disposable liners could possibly be fragranced.

Tested by mum Amy Wicks for the M&B Awards 2017:

The Easyfit Star nappies are gorgeous! They come in a range of lovely bright designs and are almost too good to wear under clothes! They are of high quality and you really do feel like that will stand the test of time, making them great value for money.

How did this product make your life easier?

Using the nappies means that I can travel much more lightly throughout the day, carrying only spare liners instead of the multitude of disposable nappies that I usually take with me. It also means that I am not constantly taking the bins out.

Would you choose this product to win?

The design and quality of the Easyfit Star nappies really make them stand out. They are gorgeous to look at, and practical, far less leaks or accidents that disposables!

What changes would you make to this product?

My little boy is tiny, and although they say they are suitable for use for his weight I found that they were far too cumbersome for him to be able to move comfortably in them. The Velcro fastening is great... But because of his size ended up virtually covering his whole chest. Newborn/first size options would be better I feel for smaller babies.

Tested by mum Deborah Wilson for the M&B Awards 2017:

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Who would not find these nappies attractive! The colourful designs are something you really want to show off and there is something smug about knowing how you are not contributing the nappy landfill disaster. The nappies come with very clear instructions and the website is informative with very helpful videos.

How did this product make your life easier?

The idea that these nappies will last until around 3 years is very appealing and you cannot help but weigh up how much money you will be saving. I love the attached inner lining such saves sorting the washing out and boy did they look good hanging on my washing line

Would you choose this product to win?

Beautiful designs, easy to use and comfy for baby make them a winner in my eyes.

What changes would you make to this product?

The thickness of the nappy meant I had to put less clothes on my little one as he was getting a bit hot. You may also need to size up on vests with poppers too.

We have fallen in love with this nappy and this I would highly recommend this for any mother looking for an reusable nappy. Fantastic product that does what it should and what is says it will do! Super soft outer and inner in great colours and designs. My son's nappy was the topic of many conversations when ever we did a nappy change.

How did this product make your life easier?

For starters, the nappies have a velcro fastening, so when it comes to putting it on it’s essentially the same as any disposable nappy. Even though it fits all babies from birth to potty training, I found it easy to adjust to the right fit for my son. I was pleasantly surprised by the absorbency and all you need is a liner to pop along the inside of the nappy then you simply fasten the nappy at the waist as usual. The seam free design also ensures there is no leaks and annoying material scratching your baby.

Would you choose this product to win?

It was really easy to maintain the cleaning of the nappies which was what I was most apprehensive about. The fantastic designs and colours haven't faded after multiple washing and even the Velcro is still in superb condition. Due to the different liners available, you can decide how much 'padding' you need for the required level of absorbency. The nappies are made of super soft material especially the insides next to your babies skin which is a nice bonus.

What changes would you make to this product?

This is really hard as I love everything about this product. However thinking about it, it might be an idea to get the nappies or have a option to select nappies that are pre washed before selling to assist with the absorbency level and not require the multiple washes from me as the customer before feeling confident to use.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

These almost had me converted from my current real nappies! Almost - then came the watery poo...which leaked out the side a bit as I suspected it may. I absolutely love all the designs, so colourful and attractive. They feel gorgeous to touch and were really soft against my baby's skin. The velcro is of high quality and not as aggresive as some types, but still worked well. These really are an easy to use nappy and would be great for first time users of real nappies as they are so simple to assemble and use. They are quick to wash and the pocket system means they are also really quick to dry. My only complaint is that the watery poo did leak out the sides, which I can't see can be helped other that by using the nappy and wrap system.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

They are quick to grab and put on and take minimal fuss in the preparation etc. Baby is very comfortable in them and it saves having nappies, wraps, boosters and liners floating around all the time. It was definitely the best pocket nappy I've tried and i really liked it being 'all-in-one'.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

Make it leak proof! Maybe an additional piece around the leg some how?

Tested by mum Fiona Barclay for the M&B Awards 2016:

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

Because its so easy to use, and it looks great. It’s the simplest of the nappies to get to grips with, everything can be joined together so no jumbles in the wash. The nappy itself is soft and not too bulky or tight, it’s great for mums thinking of converting from disposables to cloth because it goes on just like a disposable does. The designs are a big plus, they are all fun and quirky and I think I could get a lot more mums lured into cloth nappies if they all looked as cool as these do!

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

It’s JUST so easy to use, for us it was a foolproof never fail design. A few tweaks getting the fit right initially with the rise setting and then you can just use and abuse it, over and over and over again. The fold out insert is great for speeding up drying, these ones dried really quick on the washing line, which has often been a sign that a nappy isn’t very absorbent in the past, but these ones must be made of magic because my little girl could easily last four hours without any leaks! I would be so happy to use a set of these as the only type of nappy I owned, the booster is perfect for us for overnights and I think will be more handy when she is bigger during the day too.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

Hmmm, maybe just the length of it. The rise just doesn’t go high enough in my opinion for average age of kids potty training these days, my older kid recently potty trained, but I tried one on him just to see how the size was and we had a builders bum situation, and it was a bit risqué in front too!

Tested by mum Sara Cauvain for the M&B Awards 2016:

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

Would definitely recommend to any mum who wants to move away from disposables.  The TotsBots are just brilliant.  I am still a novice at reusable nappies but am slowly getting there!  They are brilliant.  I love the designs and how easy they are to use.  I wish I had used them sooner with my little boy but will be using them when my next baby arrives in few weeks!  It took a bit of getting used to in how to use them properly, liners etc and Im still learning but they are so worth it!

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

Wouldn't change a thing.  It does cost a bit to get yourself a good supple and the designs are hard to resist.  Still getting used to liners!

Tested by mum Shannon Fearn for the M&B Awards 2016:

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

I absolutely love these! There are so many designs to choose from, and a lot of them are unisex too. I had never used reusable nappies before, so felt a little apprehensive in trying them. However, my worries soon disappeared! I quickly got used to using these on my son and he was very happy to have them on too. They fit nice and comfortably and most importantly, they were absorbent enough to avoid leaks throughout the day.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

The washing of these means that we don't have bags of nappies filling up our dustbins every week. They wash really easily and do exactly what I would want them to do.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

They tend to leak for overnight use, could this be addressed?
