At a glance:

These cute, reliable swim nappies come in a number of bright designs your little one will love. It’s easy to use, affordable, environmentally friendly and a great way to avoid accidents in the pool. They dry fast, and seem comfortable on little ones.

What they say:

“Every baby needs a reliable swim nappy and Splash About's Happy Nappy is the only swim nappy insisted upon by most UK swim schools. In a wide range of designs for boys and girls, it’s the only safe way to stay clean and get noticed in the pool.”

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would definitely recommend this product to a fellow mum. The product also comes in a vast array of designs, all of which will suit any baby's personality! It is also so easy to use, and it works brilliantly to hold any toileting that a baby may do while in the swimming pool. I will admit that I was skeptical when I received the product, but have certainly been convinced.

How did the product make your life easier?

This product makes my life easier as a mum as it eliminates the need to buy and take swim nappies. The system works brilliantly, and not only is it one less thing to remember, it also saves space! To top it all off, it's also environmentally friendly! What's not to like? Brilliant system.

Would you choose this product to win?

I would choose this product above all the others that are on the market, mainly because it is so easy to use, and, unlike some others available, it actually works! As I have stated above, it also cuts down on things that have to be taken, which is plenty enough when you have a baby. It is also environmentally friendly and reusable, so it also saves money!

What changes would you make to the product?

I can't think of anything that I would change about this product, apart from maybe providing some more designs for the outer nappy. It can also be slightly difficult to get off when wet, especially when you have a little wiggle bum, but if this was looser then the product would not be as effective.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend this product to friends and other mums due to its simplicity and great value for money! It's comfy for baby and definitely hygienic, so is certainly great value for price. The happy nappy we used has a lovely floral designed, soft tones of light pink with some dark pink panels, perfect for any princess! I hope they release some more designs soon, as I would love to see any yellow designs.

How did this product make your life easier?

The Happy Nappy is one of the best products I could recommend for swimming. Simple to use and easy to put on baby, there are three layers - a disposable lining, a fabric lining and the happy nappy itself. There may be multiple layers, but don't let that put you off! Rather than fiddling about trying to get my little one into a suit, it was so much easier and quicker to slip on a few layers, and then off we go!

Would you choose this product to win?

I would choose this product above all others on the market as it reduced any risks of leaks with its multiple layers and, on top of that, it was really easy to put on. I got a little uncomfortable with there being no top half, but either way, my little girl enjoyed herself and it didn't bother her at all. All the parts (except the disposable lining) are reusable, making it a lot easier than having to keep buying expensive swim nappies!

What changes would you make to this product?

If I could change one thing about this product, I would prefer that the fabric lining were sewn into the happy nappy, as that would reduce the parts required. That said, I would still use this product even if no changes were made, as I believe it's a great product and it's made trips to the swimming pool a lot easier!

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Saving money is the main thing, and for a small outlay you get a much superior product that you can trust without having to keep purchasing disposable swimming pants. They also look a lot better, and my children were much happier to wear them than the disposable ones. Hygiene-wise, the liners make it really easy to dispose of any accidents.

How did this product make your life easier?

I found the nappy a lot more reliable than most disposable swimming pants, and a lot more economical too. The fact that you only have to purchase them once, and feel confident in that they will protect them in the water is a massive plus for me. We holiday a few times a year and my toddler has swimming lessons every week, so we have saved a lot of money through using these.

Would you choose this product to win?

I think they make life much easier for parents; firstly through cost, as mentioned before, as disposable nappies can be a huge, and these have helped us make huge savings. They are also environmental friendly, and the designs are varied and something for every child, male or female. They also make me confident that if a child has an accident that they will contain it with no embarrassment to the child or parent, which is great.

What changes would you make to this product?

I can't think of anything to change other than possibly making one size bigger, as my toddler is quite large, and could have done with a bigger size in another month or so. Other then that, they work perfectly, are simple and straightforward to use, and the designs are great. We got a lot of compliments about them when he was wearing it – and environmental-wise it is such a good product that, for that alone, it should win. It really does work (little swimmers etc., are not always very reliable).

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend this product to friends and other mom's, as they are very pretty, easy to use, and you can choose a design or colour that perfectly suits either a girl or boy. They're very usable, and you can get the liners for white nappy pants, which saves using disposable ones time and time again. I feel the sizing does come a up little small for my boy, though he just have a little more weight on him.

How did this product make your life easier?

This product makes life a lot easier, as it is reusable, and you don’t then have to worry about buying disposable swim pants, although some swimming pools do have rules that you have to have a disposable nappy underneath. They are easy to use and very quick drying. The pattern is very good, as there are so many different designs to choose from, all of which look lovely.

Would you choose this product to win?

I would choose this product over other products in the supermarkets as they are made from very strong, durable materials, look great, and don’t seem too flimsy.

What changes would you make to this product?

The only issue I found with the swim nappy is that it is not very stretchy, so can be a bit fiddly to put one when your little one is wriggling around. I would make the material a little stretchier so as to make it easier to put on your little one. Or maybe my little one just has a bigger belly!
