Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

Absolutely. It's gives amazing peace of mind and I love the angel design. So easy to use. A little pricy but you can't put a price on safety.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

I felt I could happily get on with jobs whilst my baby slept and not having to check on him every 5 mins.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

I think I would change the screen quality. It could be a little sharper.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

This monitor is very good - it is one for the more worried parents as it has the sensor pad which detects any lack of movements in the cot as well as the usual monitor features. Its easy to set up and I found it easy to use without having to read the instructions too much. It has touchscreen which is nice. I found it charged well and lasted a while, with the option to sleep the parent unit to save battery. The actual monitor looks nice too - I think its a nice design. I did think the quality of the screen on the parent unit was a little blurry considering the price of the monitor but apart from that I do think its a great monitor.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

This monitor gives real peace of mind when your baby goes into their own room as you know that if they were to stop movement then the alarm would sound. As well as all the other features which really help - such as thermometer and talk back function.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

I would like to see better screen quality on the parent unit and also for the price I would like to be able to remotely move the camera because on certain occasions I would want to move the camera unit to a different location and pop downstairs but if I had left the parent unit downstairs then it would be pot luck whether I had positioned the camera in the right place and if I hadn't then I had to go back upstairs and move it. with other brands you can move it from the parent unit and you can zoom etc.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

We would only recommend this product to new first time parents who persistently worry or have concerns over cot death.  One of our friends had to receive hypnotherapy as she was unable to sleep when her baby slept due to fears of cot death.  This monitor, with its baby alarm system would have been perfect in the beginning before her fears became too intense.   We really liked the fact that it gave parents who had serious concerns an option.  The system did not go off by accident during testing, however we ensured its functionality by lifting the baby off while on, and the alarm was sufficiently loud enough to wake us from wherever we slept in the house.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

This product as a monitor is OK and we really loved the fact you could see our baby through the monitor.  We also believe it would make parents with serious concerns over their baby during sleep times, feel more at ease.  We did not like the screen pixels as we have tested far superior video monitors.  The controls were a little confusing and we believe it is quite expensive, however this could be due to the movement sensor that comes with it.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

We would increase the pixels on the video monitor, this would aid parents when their child is over one years and moving around the cot or room.   We would update the controls to be simpler and more inline with others on the market.

Rebecca said: ‘This has a movement sensor pad, talk-back, night light and temperature display.

‘It’s simple to set up and the parent unit has a touch screen. There’s no music player, though.

‘However, similar functionality is available on less expensive models. So, while this offers extra peace of mind because of the sensor, it’s pricey.’
