How did this product make your life easier?
Anna: The product has good picture quality and is sensitive to noises within the room. The products sound options are nice and again good quality. There are different colour lights that you can have around the camera which is handy as an alternative for a night light, we no longer need the night light in the bedroom. The monitor has a stand which is good for the bedside table and there is a two-way intercom so you can speak to your little one.
Ellen: This product is easy to set up and the quality of the picture and sound is very good. I love that the camera has a night light and that you can change the colour and even play music. The signal is very good- we have an old house with thick walls, however, it was no issue picking up the camera on the monitor.
Annie: This has been an absolute game-changer in my household! The device was incredibly easy to set up and the image on the monitor is very clear. As such, we've got our evenings back! We can now happily put our baby to bed upstairs with peace if mind that we can watch her clearly on the monitor. The lullabies which can be played through have also been really helpful when getting her back to sleep.
Would you recommend this to other mums?
Linsey: Using the VOX setting on the monitor means that we are not constantly listening out for our baby stirring or making noise- when either of these things happen the screen will power back on and alert us to this. Previous monitors we've used have not had this function so one eye really has to be constantly on the screen to ensure we're not missing anything. The screen on the Yoo Moov 360 monitor is a great size, and the quality of the picture is clear as day- this coupled with the sensitive VOX setting makes for a really high end, reassuring product.
Annie: I would recommend this product to a friend or fellow mum as it is incredibly easy to use and instantly provides peace of mind when you are not in the same room as your baby. The images are clear and reset quickly between daylight and nighttime so that the image is never compromised. It is very easy to set up and is reliable.
Kasia: The best feature of this baby camera is the fact that the monitor has such a big screen and the picture quality is fantastic. I love the menu which allows you to change the position of the camera, change the light and music. It is also very easy to use. The camera itself is quite bulky, takes some space when you take it with you for a weekend away, which we often do. For this occasion, you also need to think of finding something to transport it in, as no case is attached. I fully appreciate this product but I am not entirely sure if this would be something that I would necessarily recommend to other mums, mainly due to its price - many cheaper products on the market, and when you are the first time parent your budget is already stretched.
Would you choose this product to win?
Chelsea: Personally I wouldn’t choose this product over others, although it is a really good monitor I feel the picture quality needs to be improved. I really like the 360 feature and the fact you can control it through the parent screen as well as all the other features so once the camera is fitted you can leave it exactly where it is. The battery life on the wireless screen does not last very long so sometimes it means the screen can be restricted while it is placed on charge. Unfortunately on this occasion, it is not a winner for me just down to another monitor I have found with a lot more features and accuracy. For example, the features that have been a win for me on another monitor as being alerted when baby rolls over etc, as these are key moments when safe sleeping could be disturbed.
Rimma: I don’t think I would choose this product above all for the price tag. I think the product is great, it’s got great features like inbuilt melodies you can play for your little one, or lights (can serve as a night light for sure), a two-way speaker and the temperature gauge. All of these have been super helpful with the little one. However, I think £189 is too much and I would make do with a monitor with perhaps fewer features but also a cheaper price.
Anna: The main issue we had with the monitor is that it regularly lights up and disturbs our sleep. It is a sensitive camera and when there is a noise it alerts you by lighting up, we did have this turned down however it still lights up. Previous monitors we've used have only made the noise and only light up when we touch them. The battery is life is not brilliant and we often that it would have turned itself off during the night as the warning wasn't particularly loud to wake us. The movement on the monitor is good and would possibly come in handy if you had twins and needed to move around the room, it wasn't a function we needed.
What changes would you make to this product?
Ellen: If there were one thing I would change, it would be that a plug was included. Although I note the reason for not including one, that people have many USB plugs at home already, in my house, these are already in use by other devices and I had to buy a plug for the monitor and camera. Please just include the plugs!
Linsey: By using the Yoo Moov 360 monitor we were able to do away with the room thermometer as this is a built-in function. We now have the monitor plus a white noise machine by our baby's crib, so if one of the lullaby sound settings on the monitor were replaced by a white noise setting we would have all our nursery machines in one and that would really make life so simple!
Annie: If I could change one thing about this product it would be the USB cable and power source. It is such a shame that it still uses the old-style USB cable, meaning that you always need to have a specific cable for it and can't just share one with the majority of other products. It is a shame that it doesn't have a battery power source as the length of the USB cable can be a little limiting.
