This multi-position carrier includes modern new styling, more support, a handy zip pocket and a blended poly cotton interlock to produce a carrier that leaves parents with a few more pounds in their pocket. It can be used from birth, 5lbs and upwards.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Fanny: This carrier securely holds the baby in place when chest facing which allows you to be hands-free. The wide straps enable you to also secure baby’s head when they fall asleep without their heads falling in the wrong direction. It was easy to put on without any complicated knots/wrapping. As well as this it came with its own bag which meant it could pack up quite small.

Bethan: I would recommend this product to a fellow mum. It’s a really nice design and the colours are lovely. The teal colour is very unisex so could be easily worn by mum or dad and look fashionable. There are lots of carriers on the market but I this is one of the nicest I’ve tried.

Taransay: I would recommend this carrier because it’s so easy to use (there’s no complicated wrapping or tying involved). I also love having my baby in a snuggly wrap as I feel it’s more natural than the more structured baby carriers. I love the soft material and the fact that it comes in a pouch (keeping the straps safely out of the way from getting tangled in things).

How did this product make your life easier?

Mariana: It has made my life easier as I have been able to carry my baby around effortlessly and without getting a bad back as it distributes the weight nicely and is easy to use. Being an active mum, it has meant that I can still do bits at home. I recently went to a wedding and was able to carry little one about and she must have been comfortable as she fell to sleep whilst being carried.

Layna:  The Close Caboo makes life as a mum of three boys (+ one dog) super easy in those early clingy baby days. I was able to keep baby close and happy whilst still caring for his bigger brothers. Being a busy mum meant it was vital to still have the use of both arms which wasn't easy with a newborn who constantly wanted cuddles. I can safely say, the carrier changed that, giving us the best of both worlds!

Samantha: There are some tasks around the home that you will never be able to complete one handed whilst holding a wriggly baby. That is where I found the Caboo most useful, I was able to keep my son close while getting on with jobs. I am able to put the Caboo on quickly and easily. I know that my son is secure and I am confident to go hands-free.

Would you choose this product to win?

Charlotte: I would choose this above others as although it is a more affordable version, it is still made from quality materials and it is built to last. It can be used from birth up to 15kg, so it's a good investment. It can be used as a hip carrier for older babies so it is very versatile. It is also attractive, soft and doesn’t have any plastic or scratchy bits, making it comfortable for you and baby.

Layna: This is my favourite carrier for babies when they are smaller but I did find that I reached for it less as he got bigger as it was a little more fiddly to use than my other carrier. I did, however, love how easy it was to change the size for different adults and both my husband and I found it very comfortable.

Nassim: The Close Caboo is a soft sling which is comfortable for my baby. He generally does not like being placed in a sling as it is restrictive, however, given the modifiable position of the horizontal component he feels less constrained and is happier to stay in it for longer. I think the design allows it to be worn effortlessly and quickly as well as making the placement of baby easy.

What changes would you make to this product?

Taransay: The one thing I didn’t particularly like was that, due to the soft material, it seemed to slip quite a lot when I was wearing it. There seemed to be nothing I could do to prevent the back crossover from sliding, no matter how tight I tied it.

Mariana: I am happy with this product and have not found anything I would change. Being so easy to use, the colour, great design all giving me that extra closeness with my baby. I can see it has been really thought out for parents in mind.

Bethan: I have twins so would have loved to be able to access more guidance on whether it can be worn with two babies. I found some YouTube videos of how to do it but I was always worried from a safety perspective. It would have been a huge selling point for me to see a stretchy wrap advertised at twins.
