The Fisher-Price Sit Me Up Floor Seat assembles easily, is sturdy, secure, lightweight and portable. It takes up quite a large surface area compared to other similar products but it does fold flat for compact storage.

The seat is fully detachable and washable, and the removable pad adds to the comfort-factor, encouraging baby to sit up and play for ages. Bright colours lure baby in and the included toys are wonderfully tactile. There is also the option to swop toys according to baby’s preference. Although the chair is attractive and entertaining, it  can be tricky to get baby in and out; for a smooth transition into the chair, a second person is needed to pull baby’s legs through and to get baby out, weighting the chair by standing on the sides works best. It would also be great if the seat could double-up as a feeding station with a tray add-on, making the product multifunctional thus improving its value.

The Sit Me Up Floor Seat is an interim-type product (lasting from when baby can hold his/her head up to when baby can sit unaided), which means that parents might be less inclined to spend money on something so short-lived but for the fun-factor, it’s worth the cost.
