For a basic bouncer chair this is brilliant value. There’s a lie-flat setting for naptime, plus a soothing vibrate function, and the fabric is wipe-clean, so it’s handy for weaning. It converts easily from a static chair to a rocker / bouncer, but the toy bar is fairly basic and there are no light or music features.

Tested by Jen Naulls, 31, mum to William, three months. She says:

This was fiddly to assemble and I had to admit defeat. My husband put it together with brute force, but we may never be able to prise the pieces apart again! The fabric made a noise when William moved, so he woke up during a nap. The seat clip is awkward and nipped fingers, and the toys fall off the arch easily.

Tested by Katy Tanton, 34, mum to Joseph, four months. She says:

I really struggled to assemble this and was initially unimpressed. It feels quite plasticky, but after a few days of use it grew on us. The material is easy to clean and Joseph seemed to like the bright colours. We used it in the bathroom and it kept Joseph entertained for around 20 minutes each morning, which was long enough for my shower.

Tested by Amanda Lancaster, 31, mum to Lottie, three weeks. She says:

I like the wipeable surface, and the lie-flat function is a big plus. Lottie fell asleep in this several times and we could adjust the position so she napped safely and comfortably. The vibrating function calmed her, but it’s in a strange position, so that her feet mainly felt the effect. Unfortunately, the toy bar was positioned out of her reach.
