Concord Transformer T Pro Car Seat

A high quality ISOFIX model that is very easy to fit and use. It has impressive side impact protection and uses an impact shield rather than a traditional harness for the Group 1 stage. It’s well-made and sturdy but is let down by the poor seat recline. A good solid choice.

The impact cushion for the Group 1 phase (9 months to 4 years), designed to provide extra protection in the event of a collision, along with the ISOFIX  fittings makes this a reassuring choice. The instructions are clear and it’s a doddle to install as it has a handy belt guide that opens at the touch of a button and locks automatically.

>> WHAT IS AN ISOFIX CAR SEAT?

The Transformer  has impressive side impact protection and the covers remove easily for washing. It’s well made, feels sturdy, has a high quality finish and is easy to move between cars. But it could be better padded and be able to recline, especially as it isn’t particularly cheap. You can also buy a thermal insert that also fits other Concord models, for £29.99 which helps make travelling on hot days more comfortable for your child. Overall, a solid choice.
