A solid mid price option that feels safe and robust. Has good features including a cupholder, adjustable headrest and a five point harness. Quite heavy to move but the seat and headrests are deeply padded and comfortable. Good value for money.

A sturdy car seat that left testers feeling confident about its safety. The five point harness feels secure and can be adjusted as your child grows, as can the headrest, which has two positions.

Has handy features like a cupholder and you can easily remove the fabric for washing

The headrest and seat are deeply padded which is ideal for the younger end of the age range and there is a reassuring mechanism for making sure the seatbelt is securely fitted.

>> WHAT IS AN ISOFIX CAR SEAT?

The Elite doesn’t recline very much so it’s not ideal if your toddler nods off in the car, but on the plus side has handy features like a cupholder and you can easily remove the fabric for washing. It does feel quite heavy though and is hard to move between cars. At first the complicated instructions might prove a headache, as adjusting the seat to fit an older child is difficult, but overall this is a decent option that offers great value for money.
