At a glance:

This clever changing bag is one of the most spacious bags we’ve ever seen, with numerous pockets to make fiddly things easy to find in a rush. It’s extremely good value for money and the cross-body style is handy for when you’re holding your tots hand. This was incredibly popular with our panel of mum testers, but they wished there were a few more colours in the range.

What they say:

“Allis Chic Tote changing bag is very stylish as well as practical. It has a large capacity for you to store the essentials and a highly fashionable design that is ideal for any parent. Using the universal stroller straps you can keep your hands free and ready to use on a busy day out with your little ones.”

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend this bag as it's lightweight and has everything you need. It has lots of pockets including an insulated bottle pocket, a changing mat and short and long handles making it easy to carry or place on the handle of a pram. I’d definitely recommend this bag to mums of more than one child too, as its extremely spacious.

How did this product make your life easier?

The bag is a great size with lots of handy pockets – I have three children and can easily fit in everything we need for a day out. It fits in extra drinks and snacks for the bigger kids as well as all I need for the baby. It makes life easier by using just the one bag rather than needing a separate bag for the bigger kids.

Would you choose this product to win?

I would choose the product because it is the right size for what I need. It's definitely the biggest bag I've had and that suits my family. It's great value for money as well and I think the bag should win as it's perfect for bigger families – this would be absolutely fabulous for mums of twins.

What changes would you make to this product?

I wouldn't change anything but could imagine if you have just one child you might find it a bit too big. Also it's not as handbag-like as some people would want, but I think this is more of a personal choice and depends on how much you value functionality over style. It might be more adaptable in plain back, but I personally give it ten out of ten.

Tested by mum Meghan Mayne for the Mother & Baby awards 2018:

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend this to a fellow mum because of all the room and pockets this changing bag has, also I love how it is insulated. I love how the bag is waterproof which is helpful if you get caught in the rain and it is wipe-clean, so that if it gets dirty you can clean it easily with a baby wipe. The cross body style is also great when holding your toddler.

How did this product make your life easier?

This product makes my life easier because it is very roomy and has loads of pockets. The changing mat is great especially if you’re out and about, I love the purse for holding change, and also the front pocket is great for my keys. With it also being thermal insulated, this will be great for taking on holiday to keep my toddlers’ drinks cools

Would you choose this product to win?

I would choose this product above others because of the space and the fact that it is insulated. The only thing I didn't like was the circle design which I found a bit dated, but everyone is different. I'd pick solid colours like black, pale pink or blue, which would all be great. If I had seen this style in the shop, I would not have picked it up because of the pattern on it which is a shame.

What changes would you make to this product?

The only thing I would personally change is the pattern, block colours would be better. I also think that a personalised option would be great, for example being able to add your baby’s name on the outside.

Tested by mum Jessica Strudwick for the Mother & Baby awards 2018:

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend this changing bag because it has some amazing features, for example, the buggy clips, the many, many pockets and the two thermal bottle holders. I particularly love the pockets on the front for all the nappy changing bits. I like that it has more space for things other than just a changing mat.

How did this product make your life easier?

This product makes everything accessible, it has a very nice design and all the pockets make it easy to find little things like nappy cream in a rush.

Before I gave birth to my daughter, I had brought the Allis Fashion Tote Changing Bag. I loved that bag, but I love this one more! I say this is the upgraded version because it has so many more features and pockets. I will definitely be using this bag as my main bag now - it's so spacious, handy, and just all round gorgeous!

What changes would you make to this product?

If I could change one thing about this bag, it would be to shorten the width. I have found it doesn't fit the average pushchair.

Tested by mum Jade Maynard for the Mother & Baby awards 2018:

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would 100% recommend this bag to a friend or fellow mum. It is great value for money as I have spent over £100 on bags in the past! It is very easy to wipe out and keep clean. I love this bag!

How did this product make your life easier?

I really love this bag – it is a great size, it’s easy to carry and use on my pushchair, it has so many different sections that it is very easy to keep everything in one place and find things in a rush. I also love the changing mat that comes free with the bag, plus the two different handles so I can carry it, or have it over my shoulder.

Would you choose this product to win?

I would love this bag to win over the others on the market as it is just such great value compared to many I have looked at. There are no problems or concerns I have with this product. I have really enjoyed using it and will not being going back to my other bag which I paid a lot of money for.

What changes would you make to this product?

I only have one thing that I would change and that is the design, however this is a personal choice as I would like the design to match my pushchair.

Tested by mum Tiia Marshall for the Mother & Baby awards 2018:

Would you recommend this to other mums?

The main reason I would recommend this product is because it has reduced the amount of stress generally associated with leaving the house! The features of the bag are aesthetically pleasing as well, so I would recommend it as it is attractive but also practical due to the provision of a changing mat.

How did this product make your life easier?

It is clear that the bag has been built with a mothers’ needs in mind as I am able to stay much better organised with this as opposed any other normal bag. Things in turn stay cleaner for longer. Also, if I need to leave in a hurry, having such a straightforward bag helps me to know that I have everything I need.

Would you choose this product to win?

I would choose this product for the quality of the materials used. You can tell from using it that it will last a long time, for example the zip is still in good shape, unlike other bags I’ve had in the past.

What changes would you make to this product?

I would ensure that the bag was constructed to be firmer or more rigid rather than the soft material it is made of.
