What they say:

“Compact and lightweight for use at home or when travelling, the Inovi Cocoon provides a safe and secure sleeping environment for your baby. Suitable from birth up to approx. 6 months old, this stand-alone crib/bassinet makes a stylish, contemporary alternative to a moses basket whilst also functioning as a travel crib. It features a removable mesh canopy that protects your little one from curious pets, falling objects, mosquitos, wasps and other flying insects.”

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend the Inovi Cocoon Bassinet as it is a little bigger than a Moses basket which means it can be used for longer up to 6 months old. It is lightweight and folds down really easily and quickly. The mesh canopy is fantastic in the hot weather as it stops flies and wasps getting to the baby, It has mesh panels to air is circulated properly and it is fantastic to take out and about with you when visiting family. I take mine with me all the time.

How did this product make your life easier?

When visiting family, I would tend to have baby in the car seat if he is comfortable but this bassinet has made my life so much easier. No more worries that he has been in the car seat too long. I can set it up in a couple of minutes and it is ready for him to sleep in safely and comfortably. When folded down and in the bag it is very small and can be carried with one hand and takes barely any room up in the car.

The Inovi Cocoon Bassinet has been a 'must have' item for me. No messing about whatsoever.

What changes would you make to this product?

I would not change a single thing about this product, it suits my needs perfectly and is perfect for my 11 week old son, it can be used as an alternative to Moses basket but it will last a little longer due to its slightly bigger size both length and width. It complies with IAS for use as cabin luggage too which is amazing that you can take it abroad with you too. It really is the perfect bassinet.

I think this is a fantastic product. I absolutely love it and my daughter does too. We use it in the lounge as a place for her to sleep during the day. She loves being able to see through the mesh panels on the side. We clip some toys on to the sides of the cocoon for her to play with while she is awake. It folds down small enough that you can take it on an aeroplane with you. It's very well built, sturdy and comfortable for my daughter to sleep in.

How did this product make your life easier?

It is very good to have in the lounge for my daughter to sleep in during the day. It's so quick and easy to put up and take down. I haven't taken it down since I've had it as it's always up ready for my daughter to have a sleep in whenever she needs one during the day. It can be easily transported and taken with you if you go away in this country or abroad. It's easy to check to see if your child is OK by looking through the mesh panels on the side.

Would you choose this product to win?

I'd choose this product because it looks fantastic. It's so comfy for my daughter and she enjoys sleeping and playing in it during the day at home. I love being able to use it when out in the garden as you can zip the mesh net on to it and they can sleep soundly without having insects or pets go into the cocoon with them. It is very well built and it can be put into a bag so you can transport it easily. The mesh sides allow me to see my daughter and provide fresh air circulation for her.

What changes would you make to this product?

I would love it if there was a shade made to act as an umbrella to shade the child from the sun as some parents may not have a umbrella to use with a patio table. I absolutely love this product and will be recommending it. I love the colours that it comes in. I think this is a very innovative product and I haven't seen anything like it before.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Yes we would recommend the Inovi Cocoon Bassinet to a fellow mum. The design is modern and slick so it looks good. We had the black version which is quite dark for a baby's cot but the cream version looked nice. It was very clean and could easily be put in its handy bag for traveling. It is very light to carry.

How did this product make your life easier?

It is very easy to put up and put away which is great for traveling with a newborn. The box says it will be a two-minute set-up and it does not lie. My husband was amazed at how efficient it was and so easy to use. We travelled with our baby at eight weeks old and he slept well and was very comfortable.

Would you choose this product to win?

I think that this is a great product that is simple and easy to use. It was very quick to set up and light to carry. It looks stylist and doesn't need anything to go with it for example a mattress. I found it good for putting our baby in and could leave him with the net done up enabling him to be left with the animals in the house unable to jump in.
