At a glance:

Flexible and reusable, TheraPearl’s 3-in-1 Breast Therapy packs have soft covers that can be slipped comfortably inside your bra to relieve any discomfort that can be caused by some conditions associated with breastfeeding. BPA, BPS and latex free, they are also shaped to fit around a breast pump to encourage let down and promote faster milk flow.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Sarah: This product had a great design and was easy to use. The cold temperature provided instant relief and they held their cool temperature for a good period of time. I found them comfortable to wear due to the soft covers. The beads allowed them to mould to the shape of my breasts, continuing to stay flexible even when frozen. They would fit easily inside any nursing bra/ top. They’re quick to use and it has definitely helped to speed up the process of pumping.

Kirsty: I would recommend this product. Not only is it easy to use but it is also discreet and not cumbersome. The fabric cloth that the breast therapy microwaveable insert is, is very comfortable and soft. I also like the versatility as it can be both hot and cold. It can be used in conjunction with the expressing machine and the addition of the fastening to connect around it helps make expressing comfortable.

Sarah: Yes I would recommend this product. It provides good relief and can be used very easily. I also love the fact it can be used hot or cold and remains mouldable when frozen. It feels like a very sturdy product. I have used it numerous times and it works exactly the same as it did when it was brand new.

How did this product make your life easier?

Helen: These pads are great in the early days of being a mum when your boobs are sore from breastfeeding. The last thing you want as a new Mum is sore, engorged breasts on top of the lack of sleep. I found these really helpful in soothing my breasts. They can be heated or chilled to provide some much-needed relief.

Ernesta: Lansinoh Therapy 3-1 is a brilliant product. I suffered a lot from mastitis with my second baby and I found that therapy helps me with the pain after feeding. It is amazing that you can warm it up in the microwave in just a few seconds. It is easy to use when you out and about as most places have microwave access.

Kayleigh: When I first saw this product I was very sceptical about it. I thought would create more hassle. I first used it whilst expressing and to my pleasant surprise, it really helped. It not only made expressing very comfortable but it also helped speed up the process and get more milk off my breasts. The cooling function was very comfortable whilst suffering from a slight bit of engorgement. It was definitely worth the preparation of freezing or warming.

Would you choose this product to win?

Rebecca: As far as I’m aware this is the only product like it on the market that is aimed at breastfeeding. I would definitely choose it above all others. I love the fact you can either heat it or put it in the freezer depending on what you need it for. I’m lucky not to have suffered from mastitis. I can only imagine how invaluable this would have been. I have a few friends who are mummies to be and this is one of the first things they have put on their lists to buy for when their babies are born.

Charlotte: I don't know any other similar products on the market and I wish I had bought these myself when I had problems in the early days of breastfeeding. The brand is recognisable and trusted. I would consider them over any other product of a similar nature. Having checked out the price of these I think these are really reasonable for what you get.

Lea: There are no other similar products to this on the market and this really does work well in all areas the company claims. The design and quality are great. They felt like they would really last well throughout the time I required them and probably with another baby if required. The size would probably cover the majority of mums and would be a useful addition to anyone's pre-baby shopping list.

What changes would you make to this product?

Rachel: This product is simply slipped into your bra and does have a tendency to move around. In order to improve this product, I would make the pads so that they could be attached to your bra to keep in place. Other than that the product is well thought out in its design and it is comfortable to use.

Sarah: When warming, I found that the beads do continue to heat up after they are taken out of the microwave. It might be helpful to say this in the instructions. However, I am clutching at straws for things to improve as it’s a great product.

Kirsty: There is very little that I would change with the product. Maybe making them different sizes for larger breasted women would ensure full converge of the breast. The fabric used does feel slightly synthetic to perhaps a softer material might be nicer.
