At a glance:

This beautiful looking bra is made from a soft, flexible material that is comfy enough to sleep in. Our panel of mum testers felt that the fabric was breathable, and loved the removable breast pad inserts. The only criticisms were in regards to sizing, as some larger busted women felt that they were not receiving enough support and could have done with a bigger size.

What they say:

“Mumba Bra is unlike any other. Designed to address some of the most common breastfeeding problems. Created by mum of two Elizabeth Morana in response to her own initial struggles with breastfeeding, the ground-breaking bra and patented design has been carefully developed to support mums from pregnancy through to nursing.”

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend this product to anyone who is a new mum. Who wouldn't love a maternity bra that is easy to use and both feels and looks good? The clips on the bra mean you can easily feed whilst wearing it.

How did this product make your life easier?

This is the most comfortable maternity bra ever! I did not expect it to feel this nice – I am so impressed. It looks so attractive and the colour is a wonderful shade of purple.

Would you choose this product to win?

This is an absolutely amazing bra, I wish I had several of them. The only thing that puts me off buying it myself is the price. I think £30 is a lot of money for one bra, although it is lovely and the best maternity bra I currently own. It's brilliant quality and therefore, if you can afford it, I could not recommend it more.

What changes would you make to this product?

I honestly think this product is pretty perfect, the only thing I would suggest would be to lower the price.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Yes, I would recommend this bra – I have actually passed it on to another breastfeeding mum friend to reap the benefits. The Mumba bra is all round supportive and very lightweight. The fit is so comfortable and the designs are beautiful. I particularly enjoyed the purple option as it was fun and a bit different to the usual options of flesh-coloured, black or white. The packaging was simple yet very informative.

How did this product make your life easier?

The Mumba bra made my life easier as it was so simple to use and made breastfeeding a less daunting process when out and about. The clips unhooked so easily and the whole bra worked like a dream.

Would you choose this product to win?

Yes! I'd give this bra a five star rating for comfort, style and usability.

What changes would you make to this product?

Nothing, I love it.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend this bra to fellow breastfeeding mums because of the comfort! It’s so soft and honestly feels great, the only thing is that there is no underwire, so it may not be the most supportive option for very large chested women. But I loved wearing it and it was fantastic to sleep in. Also, the removable breast pad inserts are a great design idea from Mumba, and cost effective as I didn't have to use my disposable breast pads at all!

How did this product make your life easier?

The bra was extremely comfortable, which is so important when breasts are sore. Also, really great for night time feeds, as the fabric wasn’t digging into my skin as I slept. I love the breast pad inserts, so much better than the disposable ones as you could just pop them in the wash whenever necessary.

Personally, I think this is a fantastic product! After having a baby, you don't necessarily want ‘sexy lingerie’, you prioritise comfort over everything. This is perfect, especially because I have suffered from mastisis.

What changes would you make to this product?

It could potentially come in a larger size as well, to accommodate women with bigger breasts.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend this feeding bra to a friend because the design is so well thought out. It makes feeding baby a lot easier, more enjoyable and a relaxing experience. The material is so soft and flexible, which makes it amazing to sleep in. I also love that it doesn't just come in the standard black and white, the colours are lovely. Also, the three clasp hooks mean you feel secure.

How did this product make your life easier?

The overall design of this product has really impressed me! The brand have incorporated the black and white pattern inside the bra, which mesmerised my little one when feeding and kept him entertained, meaning he didn’t unlatch once! Therefore, feeding was a lot quicker, which was handy as a busy mum of two.

Would you choose this product to win?

Although I'm a huge fan of the design, I could not choose this bra to win and it really didn’t accommodate my large breast size. I could wear it around the house, but I was spilling out which was not very practical. I love the functionality and aesthetics of this bra though, so if you could make it in a bigger size I would 100% buy one!

What changes would you make to this product?

As stated above, I would love them to cater for bigger busted women and make the bra more solid and sturdy in build.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

The Mumba bra is really comfortable, fits well and looks lovely on. It is made from a soft and stretchy fabric and feels quite breathable. It makes breastfeeding simpler and keeps my baby focused on her feed. What’s great is that it is machine washable, which is good from a hygiene point of view as my breast pads did come slightly out of place and there was some leakage. I found the numbered clasp system a bit complicated though, and feel this could be amended.

How did this product make your life easier?

This Mumba bra makes my life as a mum easier as it’s very comfortable and has some great features like the numbered clasps, to help you remember which breast to feed from next. This is a very clever idea, especially in the early days, because it helps your milk supply to keep flowing when alternating from one breast to the other. The black and white patterns kept my baby entertained which definitely made life easier as she fed for longer.

Would you choose this product to win?

This nursing bra is unlike others I have purchased, it is excellently designed. However, I could not choose it to win as the size guide was wrong. They said I was a medium but I was spilling out the sides and should have had a large. However, it is good value for money and competitively priced, compared to other bras on the market. The packaging was also great, it came in a nice box with attractive colours and photographs - looked expensive!

What changes would you make to this product?

My only issue with this bra was the sizing, the bra was too small for me. The size guide could be improved.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend this product to a friend or fellow mum simply because it is absolutely fabulous and the best idea ever! It makes breastfeeding much more simpler especially, when you have a tired baby brain and forget whatever is said to you within a split second, let alone not remembering what breast you have fed from!

How did this product make your life easier?

It makes breastfeeding much simpler. It is easy to just flip the front down, feed baby, then hook back on to the correct number so you can remember what breast you fed from last.

Would you choose this product to win?

The one thing that really stands out on this product are the numbered hooks. These help you to remember which breast you fed from last and that is a very handy tool to have!

What changes would you make to this product?

I do not see the need to change anything on this product. I think it is perfectly fine and usable just the way it is. I do not find any faults in this product at all.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Yes I would recommend this bra to a friend and have done. It's the most comfortable nursing bra I've worn, its material is very supportive even for a larger bust. It has inbuilt pads so no need to use breast pads. It's supportive for day wear and comfortable for wearing to bed. I like the section which goes around the breasts keeping them in place.

How did this product make your life easier?

This makes feeding my daughter much easier, its patterned section keeps me from showing off to much skin with minimum boob exposure. The sections keep boobs separated, where other nursing bras just create one big boob. It makes my clothing choice better as I can wear more different options with the bra as its supportive and comfy.

Would you choose this product to win?

I do love this product, the shape of the bra and support is excellent. The stretchy fabric is lovely under clothes. The which feed is next system is good but I find I have to think about it a bit more than remembering which breast I used previously. Even saying this it is by far the best nursing bra I've worn.

What changes would you make to this product?

The bra was slightly small for one of my breasts I ordered a large. I think there should be more sizes as small, medium and large I'm sure doesn't cover all the women's sizes. I have a 34 F cup which cant be the largest breast around and if i was much bigger, ie when first breast feeding this would have been too small.
