Would you recommend this to other mums?
Carolyn: I would recommend this set to a new mum looking for a full starter set whether they are intending on bottle feeding or breastfeeding. It has everything but the powder for bottle feeding and it comes with milk storage pots so you can store breastmilk until you use it. The Tommee Tippee bottles fit onto the Tommee Tippee breast pumps which is an extra advantage.
Frances: It’s quick and easy to use, even for the sleep deprived! If you forget to put the water in it, it will just cut out so you don't damage the equipment. It’s compact so doesn’t take up much space on the worktop. It’s got everything you need to start feeding your new baby so you don’t have to think about getting individual items.
Amy: This set comes with everything a newborn baby needs. The steriliser is a good size and can fit easily into a kitchen worktop. It comes with bottles, milk powder storage jars, teats, a bottle warmer and a case to keep the bottle warm while out and about. It also comes with bottle brushes for cleaning. You won’t need to buy anything else unless you want to replace teats. It is so quick and easy to use. I wouldn’t have chosen anything else.
How did this product make your life easier?
Leah: I absolutely love this product! I have two young children and with my first, I used a different brand. I wish I had used this product instead! It is a great starter kit with everything you need. It looks great and doesn't take long at all to sterilise the bottles. I will definitely be using this product from now on.
Geraldine: The steriliser within the feeding set is very good. It has made sterilising much quicker for me as I previously used a cold water steriliser. I’m now a convert! The bottle storage bags and powder tubs are brilliant. These have helped me to be much more organised when out and about. The bottles are super easy to clean and store but unfortunately they didn't suit us.
Natalie: This product provides many of the essentials that you need after having a baby. It even includes things that some people may not think of buying. I didn’t buy a bottle warmer with my first child but it has been a lifesaver this time around! I especially liked the steam steriliser. It is easy to fill the bottles and the instructions were simple to follow. I give it extra points for how it looks in my kitchen. The bottles are a lovely design and my son drank from them fine.
Would you choose this product to win?
Henrietta: This product is a little bit pricey, however, there are some very good deals online if you look. It’s great as you get all you need for bottle feeding in one package. When I had my baby, I forgot a bottle brush, but with this set, it is all there for you to use.
Natalie: Yes, I have not experienced a bad Tommee Tippee product. This set has everything you need which makes it stand out. Buying items separately can be time consuming and expensive. I definitely think without a doubt that this product should win in this category. It has made bottle feeding my little one so easy.
Carolyn: I would definitely choose this product and believe it should win. It is such a great starter pack for mums who don't want to buy everything separately. It has got everything in it to get you started as a new mum. It is not just for bottle feeding as it can be used for breastfeeding too.
What changes would you make to this product?
Amy: The black measurements on the bottles tend to fade after several goes in the steriliser. This makes it hard to measure milk accurately. Other than that, I’ve had no problems whatsoever with this feeding set. It’s great!
Leah: If I could change something about this product it would be the number of bottles it can hold at a time. The steriliser I used beforehand held up to six bottles but this one can only hold up to five. This isn't a problem but with a hungry baby it just makes more washing and sterilising. Overall it is a fantastic product.
Geraldine: The only thing I would change about this set is the bottles. I know every child is different in regards to feeding but neither of my children has got on with these bottles. Maybe the set should contain their anti-colic bottles rather than the standard ones. I believe this would attract a larger customer base.
