Taking a look at what ASDA have on offer, Maria has picked a range of newborn gift ideas, plus a couple of cute additions to add to your little one's nursery. Browse them here...

Must have: A Moses basket

We've used Moses baskets for our littles ones and they last right up until about 6 months old, or when baby starts crawling (which ever comes first). ASDA have a fab selection to choose from, including the Lion King themed one (above) and a Minnie or Mickey Mouse design to choose from. All very in keeping with the Disney theme we have going on this month.

Pink frill baby grow

Let's face it, babies live in one pieces for at least the first 4 months of their lives, so why not take them from day-to-night with a cute ensemble like this pink frill "sleepsuit" (not just for when they sleep!).

Disney bungee deluxe Pooh cuddles

Possibly our favourite pick this month, this rocking cradle/bouncer from ASDA is only £39.99! It's also Winnie The Pooh print, a sweet addition to any bubbas nursery, but also a necessity and safe space to lay baby down in for when you need to move around the house.

Disney Toy Story grey 7 piece gift set

This is an adorable gift set to give to a mum-to-be friend or to buy for your little one. For just £13 you get 7 items, including a cute Toy Story print, what's there not to love?

Cartoon-themed cot mattress sheet prints

If you want to steer clear of the plain pink, blue, grey, white cot mattress sheets, why not try this Dumbo pattern? ASDA also have Winnie The Pooh and Mickey Mouse themes too! We love these because they're fitted, plus you could even style an entire baby nursery around one of these characters!

Teepee dreams!

Running with the cartoon theme, here's a choice of Mickey Mouse print teepee to pop in your little one's nursery. Style up with some fairy lights or bunting, and you've got a great place to read books to your little one and eventually they can even use this as a play area. We love the idea of an indoor teepee and how it adds to a nursery's decor. ASDA also have Minnie Mouse and Lion King teepee options to choose from!

Lion King hooded towel

Aside from the fact that a hooded towel is perfect for your little one, from their first bath straight through to toddlerhood, this towel has Simba on it! How ruddy cute! AND it's only £6!

Milestones, milestones, milestones!

Any opportunity to get our little ones in a photo to share a snap of their milestones each day, week, month or year with our friends and families is just a yes from us! This mat is £12 and could double-up for a nice place to help baby practice tummy time!

2021 Disney sleepsuit!

It's just sacriligious if your baby doesn't have some item of clothing (or toy) that doesn't say the year they were born  in! So for £7 this Disney Winnie The Pooh 2021 sleepsuit is winning our hearts.

Animal print sleep bags!

Just an essential when you have a baby, a sleepbag is a great, safe way to cover your little one at night. These are 2.5 Tog so perfect for the colder months. Opt for a lighter Tog as the weather gets nicer - ASDA has great variety of designs to choose from on www.George.com. This two-pack is £24 and goes up to 24 months old.
