How did this product make your life easier?

Amy: This product is such a fantastic price, it is such a great value for what you get. They fold up really nicely and don’t take up much room if you need to take a few in the bag so they are handy for saving space. I also love how soft they feel and seem really comfy for my little boy. I have had a few leaks with my son but I think it may be where I find it hard to do the fasteners up properly as my toddler will no longer lay down for nappy changes, he likes to stand.

Caitlin: The Aldi nappies are affordable and work really well. They are very absorbent and last a long time. They are comfy and easy to use, the animal designs are attractive and make my child want to wear them. The tabs are easy to use and durable and the nappies fit well. The only thing that isn’t easy is the packaging with the nappy so tightly packed it’s hard to get the first few out.

Carly: Nappy is very absorbent and keeps my toddler dry all night. Fits well to prevent any leakages. Appears to be comfy for toddler and not limiting any movement. Only negative is that they are not pull ups. Toddler at the age where potty training and therefore the adhesive sides are creating a bit of confusion in the learning process. (Been using pull ups at night so that he can still go to the toilet himself if he wakes up) The price is also a positive factor – Mamia continue to provide excellent quality at a mum friendly price.

Would you recommend this to other parents?

Elizabeth: These nappies are easy to put on and my toddler can run around with the tabs keeping the nappy in place. We don’t encounter any leaks as they fit well round the waist and legs. For the price you really can’t go wrong! The design is a bit boring in comparison to other brands but they’re such good value for money it’s not a big deal.

Katrina: Yes I would recommend, although for us they are hard to continue to buy as our nearest shop is 30 miles away. This is probably the only negative, however if you live near then I would choose these over most other brands. The design is nice, the feel is nice and they haven’t irritated my Sons skin, which again other brands have done.

Rai: I would definitely recommend these to a fellow mum or a new mum that was looking for a cheaper nappy and doesn’t have a heavy wetting baby- mainly because they’re such a decent price and fairly good to use- they do exactly what they say on the tin. They just aren’t extremely absorbent. Being easy to put on a wiggly baby is also a big reason as to why I would recommend them. I also really like that they seem a really comfortable fit, which is super important for a baby.

Would you choose this product above all others on the market?

Katrina: A good winner for me, love the price and the product is very good. No leaks so far in any that we have used, so for that reason they stand out above all others on the market. The size is good too, sometimes I find that nappies can come up smaller but with the stretchy tabs they seem to fit well. I found these went up quite high on the back which I’m my opinion is good as I believe this has stopped some from leaking.

Sophia: For this age/size of nappy I wouldn’t choose this product above the brand I use now. It just isn’t practical to any parent for this stage. For this reason I don’t think it should win. What did stand out to me was the softness, the durability and the design. Unfortunately at this stage in my toddler’s life, it wasn’t practical for me or him to use.

Stephanie: I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy this nappy and I wouldn’t switch from the current brand that I use. The price point on these are fantastic and I will say they are much better than some of the other cheaper brands. I found that it was prone to leaks and it gets very hard when little one has a big wee like during the night.

What changes would you make to this product?

Caitlin: The one thing I would change about these nappies is the packaging. It’s hard to get the first few nappies out as it’s so tightly packed, it can also be hard to open. Another problem with the packaging is that it’s made of un-recyclable plastic which with the amount of nappies you need to buy it is not environmentally friendly. It may be better to be packaged in a box that can be recycled and should be easier to open and get nappies out of.

Rai: The one thing that I would change about this product to improve it would be to make it more absorbent, having to change it so often means that I would be buying more which means the low cost then adds up. They seem a very comfortable fit and don’t seem to cause nappy rash either so they have the potential to be an amazing nappy. Obviously they could be wonderful for babies that don’t wet as much as mine does, so this is definitely a personal view.

Stephanie: I would say a bigger inner flap/ skirt to help stop the leaks and if possible a way to make it not go so hard when full of wee.
