Nebula By Venture at a glance

The Nebula has been in the making for sometime now. It's not only our first pushchair/stroller but also our core line of premium quality pushchairs. We wanted to enter the market with a bang and we believe that the Nebula does not only offer comparable if not superior quality to some of it's competitors, it does this for a price that doesn't break the bank. It features all of the luxury elements you'd expect on a premium pushchair and it's elegant frame and design mean that it's looks remain timeless throughout use.

We spoke to these real parent testers to get their review...

How did this product make your life easier?

Monika: The stroller is very easy to push on all terrain, the sleeping position is good for my baby too and the padding is very soft. The footrest is nice and steady. It is quick to fold it, and unfold. The weight is very standard. It comes with a rain cover, which is handy and the basket is an ok size to make shopping easier. It looks posh.

Jasmine: My partner has struggled to use the previous stroller systems which we have as they have been quite low down and he has a bad back. This left him struggling to push the pram and also access the baby whilst in the pram without being in considerable pain. Since we have had the Nebula he has been able to push the pram and also access the baby in the pram without being in pain due to the nebula system sitting higher than other pushchairs. This height of the seat attachments also means more room underneath the pram, which has made shopping and carrying items much more enjoyable and considerably easier.

Vicky: I have loved using this pram! I can’t recommend it enough. It was an easy to use pram which was not too heavy to use when lifting in and out of the boot of the car. The colour of the pram was a popular neutral grey colour which matched many other baby products that I have purchased such as blankets and toys. I personally like things to match alongside the baby bag. The pram is sturdy and I have no concerns that it wouldn’t collapse on itself with the additional weight of a heavy baby bag and shopping etc. It was easy to close and open back up and fit between aisles when clothes shopping. For me I give this pram 9/10. I have taken this pram everywhere, to Peppa Pig world, shopping clothes shopping, parks and harder terrain and in mud at cockfields farm. It has been a smooth ride for the baby and easy pushing for me. The pram is hardy and you don’t feel that you need to be careful with this pram.

Would you recommend this to other parents?

Jasmine: I would recommend this product as it is much easier to push than previous systems I have owned. Any manoeuvres in the pram are very smooth and effortless. Another feature I would recommend is the moses basket, which attaches to the frame. It seems much bigger and also has a larger weight capacity meaning you will get much more use out of this.

Monika: My child seems to love it which is important. She seats higher than in other prams so she can see more and is happy about it. The straps are easy to put on. And the most important thing is that it is easy to push on all terrain. When folded it seems compact. The colours are good for boys and girls. It looks more expensive than it is and the child can sit both ways which is good.

Sarah: I would definitely recommend this pram to a friend. I think it is similar to some of the premium prams on the market at a much more affordable price. It was quick and easy to set up. It stores easily and looks really slick and stylish. One of our favourite features is the fact the seat and frame fold as one which makes packing it away and unfolding it much easier.

Would you choose this product above all others on the market?

Jasmine: I would choose this product because for the first time my partner is able to push this pram with his back injury as the movement is smooth and the pram is high. I would also choose this product because it has large wheels and we have been able to go on family walks across fields with ease. Overall, I would choose this product above others because I have had two pram systems previously from big names in the industry, yet the Nebula is by far the biggest yet, smoothest and most functional.

Sarah: I certainly think that this pram compares to others in the same price range. I have been really happy using it and would definitely recommend it to others. I like that it’s designed by a British company and uses sustainable materials for the textile elements. My favourite feature is that the seat and frame fold as one.

Vicky: I think this pram should win because they have thought about their parents' requirements. The simple fact that you can wash the toddler seat in the machine is brilliant, but also very much required. As a first time mum you don’t think about the need to wash the pram. For me, this was a game changer and why I would choose this pram over any others out there. On return from a farm the wheels were muddy, I simply cleaned them with the hose pipe, no issues as the toddler seat and carrycot come off easily. In comparison to other prams this pram is good value for money, it's not the cheapest but certainly not the most expensive. Its navigation is good and doesn’t feel heavy to push, which is a bonus if you are like me with a bad back since pregnancy and pelvic girdle pain. I personally liked the 3 main colours you could choose from for this pram, I felt all were suitable for being diverse. I know some mum's would like some other colour options but for me this was not an issue. I loved the black frame and felt this was a modern stylish pram that I would be very happy to use. I even received a few compliments at Peppa Pig world. The baby was really comfy in the pram considering he was mostly in it for 2 days straight and slept in the pram easily.

What changes would you make to this product?

Jasmine: So far we have not found anything we would specifically change. One point we have noticed is that we struggle to get the pram in the boot of a hatchback car. However, once you remove the wheels, and fold the system up it fits easily and this is a very easy process. I would maybe also offer footmuffs and cup holders, as a lot of other travel systems offer these.

Monika: The thing I would change is connecting slots/connectors. When you try to put on the seat/car seat/carrycot you need to make sure that they are in a good position as they do twist. Obviously, with time, you just do it automatically but at the beginning it’s a bit annoying. I wasn’t aware that they could twist as my other stroller had it fixed. But overall it is a very good product and I would recommend it to others.

Vicky: The only thing I didn’t like was the hardware, the pram is made really well but the silver hardware lets it down and looks a bit cheap and plastic. Everything else on the pram is really well made and feels great quality. If you can improve the silver hardware this would make the pram feel very exclusive. I do feel that with cream on my hands from nappy changes, alcohol from sanitizer, food from feeding the baby, the constant cleaning it with baby wipesI felt the silver would come off or tarnish. Also, with the pandemic cleaning your baby equipment is very much high on the agenda these days so this is something I think needs to be thought about. I would also like to see a foot muff and a decent matching baby bag.
