This simple and inexpensive wooden changing unit is solid and easy to assemble. We think that this could be a long lasting addition to your home as it can be used long past the baby changing phase. Good quality for the price, too, although you will have to buy a changing mat (bonus being that you get to pick your favourite print).

We liked the simple shape and clean lines of this unit, not to mention the reasonable price tag for such a solid piece of furniture. It’s easy to assemble with clear instructions, even if the screws are a little fiddly.

The Clara is quite compact with a useful rail for hanging towels or muslins over and the open shelving means there’s lots of space to store everything you need. It’s a shame you don’t get any extras included, such as a changing mat or storage containers on the shelves to keep things neat. It’s a good height for changing, but the barrier around the top isn’t very deep so you have to make sure you keep a firm hand on your baby so she doesn’t roll off.
As it's not obviously a changing station though, once your baby’s out of the nappy stage you could up-cycle it to store toys and books or even put in the bathroom to house toiletries.
