We absolutely love this clever My Carry Potty, it's one of the best travel potties out there! Making potty training, or toilet training it is also know a little bit of fun, the potty is also extremely lightweight and compact, allowing you to continue potty training on the move. We highly recommend!

This product has also won a 2024 Mother&Baby Award.

Testing the My Carry Potty

Here is what our army of mum and dad testers, and their little ones, thought of the My Carry Potty:

“Lightweight and portable, this potty is perfect for keeping at home, in the car, taking on holiday or wherever or whenever you need it. Practical and easy to use, this handy potty features an integrated handle and a twist button for easy opening, even when you're in a rush! The deep bowl has a large splash guard and once the lid is sealed, it's also leak-proof and odour-proof for complete peace of mind. My Carry Potty has slip resistant rubber feet to keep it still on any surface and features a moulded seat so your little one feels comfortable. To encourage your toddler to carry on potty training when they're out and about, My Carry Potty features a fun dinosaur/animal design your little one will love.”

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend this to everyone because it is so easy to use and is very handy to take travelling. The potty is in the shape of an animal which makes it really fun and therefore much easier to convince your child to use it. Our son loved it!

How did this product make your life easier?

It is so useful for taking on holiday, as we can continue to potty train abroad without having to revert to nappies. Our son loved weeing in a cow - he found it hilarious every time.

Would you choose this product to win?

I think this should win as it’s the best product available at the price point. I think it is more fun than any other products out there. My little boy really loved the potty and the animal character.

What changes would you make to this product?

I would love it if the animal made a sound, for example if the cow went ‘moo’! There could also be more animal characters available.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would definitely recommend this product as it has been a god-send! My son is toilet-training at the minute and we were finding it a real struggle to keep up the training when out and about. We’ve been able to take the My Carry Potty with us now, meaning that he will always have a toilet on the go! My son can’t open it himself which is convenient as it means there is no risk of spillage. It is a perfect size to be portable as it’s not too big to be clumsy and fits in the pushchair tray easily. I really like the deep bowl, it means it can be used a few times while you're out before it needs emptying.

How did this product make your life easier?

It has given us our freedom back! I was feeling restricted on where we could go or what we could do, whereas now we can literally be in the middle of nowhere and not have to worry about accidents. It’s made his toilet training a doddle. It’s so easy to clean and the water-tight seal is brilliant, we've not had any leaks or even bad odours.

Would you choose this product to win?

In all honesty, I hadn't heard of travel potties before using the My Carry Potty! It is so convenient as you can use it both at home and on the go. My little one loved the animal theme and I loved the watertight seal and carry-handle. This product should absolutely win!

What changes would you make to this product?

I would add another method of carrying the potty, such as straps, so that my toddler doesn’t have to carry it by the handle everywhere.

Tested by mum Katie Sparks for the Mother & Baby awards 2018:

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend. It is light, compact and the designs are really fun for kids. It is very easy to re-seal with no worry about spilling. Also, it is super easy to clean afterwards! As the product is so light and small, my little one can carry it himself with ease. Overall this product has exceeded my expectations and seems durable and long-lasting. I highly recommend it.

How did this product make your life easier?

This product is really useful on the go with a toddler. We used it in the car and also in the park. It locks and seals shut so you carry it without any fear of spillage, and the smell doesn’t waft out at all. It hangs off the buggy very easily. I love all the animals, these are so unique!

Would you choose this product to win?

Yes, there is no other potty on a par with this one. It is a great size, light to carry, easy to use and looks fantastically fun for kids. It really helped our potty-training experience and my son loves it. It should definitely win a Mother & Baby award!

What changes would you make to this product?

I cannot fault this product!

Tested by mum Emma Devere for the Mother & Baby awards 2018:

Would you recommend this to other mums?

This product is great if you spend a lot of time out and about as it is lightweight and can be put in the back of the car or under a pram. The anti-leak feature is amazing, should your little one be caught short on a road trip or a day out.

How did this product make your life easier?

The product makes days out a doddle. My husband found it helpful when out with my daughter as it meant he didn't have to take her into the gents and was not panicking about finding a toilet for her to use. It's also good if you get stuck in a traffic jam with a toilet training three-year-old who needs to go badly! It has been so useful and practical.

Would you choose this product to win?

Yes, my little girl adored the ladybird design. The product is so light that even children can carry it themselves and we know longer have to plan our days around where the nearest toilet is!

What changes would you make to this product?

It might be good to make the lock easier for children to open themselves, to encourage independence.

Tested by mum Jodie Handley for the Mother & Baby awards 2018:

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would definitely recommend this product. My little girl loved the bright colours and I loved that I didn't need to worry about any spillages and it was easy to clean. It is a perfect size, not too big and bulky and when closed, no one would know it’s a potty as it looks like a toy.

How did this product make your life easier?

This product is fantastic. It is great for keeping under the pram or in the car boot whilst training and could even be used for holidays around the pool, beach or camping, if the toilets weren't close by. It saves you so much time as it closes with a lock, does not leak and has a little handle for easy transportation. It made potty training so much easier and less stressful.

Would you choose this product to win?

I think that this product should win a Mother & Baby award even though it is pricey, it’s worth it. I could also thoroughly clean it and leave it open to dry, ready for the next use, as it stayed open and didn't self-close. All of these features make it worthy of winning gold!

What changes would you make to this product?

If I could change one thing it would have to be the price. I think that £25 is expensive for a potty.
