Would you recommend this to other mums?
If I had a friend who lived in a flat with no lift, used a lot of public transport, or travelled a lot, I would definitely recommend this stroller. It is very lightweight and super easy to collapse and open up, which would be good getting on and off buses. It stands up when folded which is a good feature when it comes to storage. It's a great little buggy for the days you are in and out of the car also. I would also recommend to a friend with a back problem as not heavy to lift in and out of car. That said, I didn’t like that even in the most upright position my son still seemed pretty reclined, but he didn’t seem to mind.
How has this product made your life easier?
Getting in and out of the car is a lot easier with this stroller, as is having a buggy that is so easy to carry as I have suffered with my back since giving birth. I also find that it is very lightweight to push, however it is not as easy to turn with, especially travelling at any speed, but I may just need practice.
Would you choose this product to win?
I probably wouldn't choose the OhLaLa to win a Mother & Baby award, simply because I don't like how far the seat reclines – it doesn't look comfortable for baby. Also, with being quite tall I have kicked the brake when walking a couple of times. The handle bar is a good height for me though which is unusual in lightweight strollers. It's a good price compared to others in this category, and I would definitely choose this product for going on holiday.
What changes would you make to this product?
I would make the wheels better so they didn't squeak and were easier to steer – sometimes I have ended up on three wheels not four! I would make the wheels a little more robust and I would move the back wheels a bit further forward, so I wouldn't kick them when I walk.

Would you recommend this to other mums?
Unfortunately, I didn't like this product at all. The concept of a lightweight pushchair was there, but I felt it lacked poorly in design, quality and usability and really don't think it's worth the money. I found the materials used to feel very cheap and the hood to the pushchair was very flimsy – it felt like it would break when pulled in to use. The handle bar was too low for me, I'm 6 ft and felt I was bending over the whole time which gave me back ache. My son likes to sit up in his pushchair and unfortunately the seat positions in quite a sloppy position for the most upright, he was constantly trying to sit upright and got quite frustrated, in the end I had to loosen the straps and slip them over his shoulders so that he could sit up and be comfortable.
How has this product made your life easier?
I couldn't recommend this product due to the above reasons. Although I haven't experienced any other similar lightweight pushchairs, I felt this one was definitely not worth it’s price tag and in general, I was very disappointed with the pushchair. My son was very agitated in it because he couldn't sit upright, but also feel the seating was not the comfiest for him. The positive was that it was very compact and I was able to get two pushchairs in my car boot. It would be OK for using if going on holiday and occasional use, but wouldn't recommend this for everyday use.
Would you choose this product to win?
I wouldn't choose this product again for the reasons stated above. I personally didn't like the height of the push chair, being 6 ft the handles were positioned too low – it made me feel conscious and like I was pushing a dolls pushchair! I didn't like the positions of the seat; the most upright position was still quite reclined compared to other pushchairs. I didn't like the style of the seating – it looked quite cheap and in my opinion quite dated. I didn't like the fact it didn't feel very stable and like it could collapse any point. The basket at the bottom was quite small, and obviously the handles wouldn't take a changing bag so there wasn't much room to put my baby’s bits.
What changes would you make to this product?
In my opinion, there are a lot of issues with this pushchair. The main improvements that I would suggest would to improve the quality and design of the fabrics and the seating positions. The most upright position needs to be more upright, as my baby was constantly trying to sit up and as said before, I had to loosen the straps and slip them off his shoulders so he was able to. The other improvement would be to introduce higher or adjustable handles for taller parents.

Would you recommend this to other mums?
This product is good value for money and I would suggest it to mums who have a budget, as it is a good price. It is very easily folded and can be stored in an upright position without falling, perfect for storage in a small hallway. It also folds down nicely to go into a boot.
How has this product made your life easier?
This product is lightweight and easy to manoeuvre and the system used to fold the pram up and down is easy to use. The seat reclines well when my child is sleeping and it does not disturb them or wake them. The pram also has a canopy to help keep the sun out baby’s eyes.
Would you choose this product to win?
No, I would not choose this product to win a Mother & Baby award as I feel it looks a little cheap, but also feels like it would break after hard wear and tear. The canopy seems to click a lot when putting it down and feels like it could break easily. I prefer a pram that is slightly heavier and sturdier.
What changes would you make to this product?
The material it is made with – the frame needs to be a lot sturdier and my overall issue is that this pram looks cheap.

Would you recommend this to other mums?
My toddler enjoyed sitting in this stroller and I found the bumper bar was extremely useful. I felt my toddler was secure and comfy within this stroller. The basket is great and easy to access, although I do prefer a bigger basket. It's easy to fold and use and the design is lovely and modern – I loved the colour of the hood.
How has this product made your life easier?
The OhLaLa pushchair is extremely lightweight, which makes it ideal for lifting in and out if the boot of the car. It's very easy to fold and reassemble, which is helpful with a busy toddler and it saves a lot of time (and toddler tantrums!). The steering is very smooth and the pushchair feels easy to manoeuver when out and about.
Would you choose this product to win?
I would choose this pushchair to win an award as a lightweight stroller, as it is by far the lightest I have experienced and it is so easy to use. That said, I didn't like the fact that my toddler didn't seem to be sat up well in the stroller – she seemed to be rather reclined even though the chair was in the upright position. I would prefer the hood to be bigger also.
What changes would you make to this product?
I would make the size of the hood larger so that it protects my toddler from the glare of the sun, or for sleeping. I would also make the upright position of the seat more upright so that my toddler isn't slouching in the stroller – this is just personal preference and everything else is great about this stroller.

Would you recommend this to other mums?
I’m not sure I would recommend this pushchair to other mums. Whilst the foldability was very good, and it wasn't heavy like other push chairs I have owned, I felt the design was a little dull and boring. The colours didn't catch your eye and I feel the design on a whole lets the pushchair down, as it makes it look cheap. That said, my baby appeared to be comfortable when testing the pushchair on our walk.
How has this product made your life easier?
The pushchair was light and easy to put up and down and when folded down, it was compact and stored well. It was super lightweight and easy to lift into a small boot. The lightweight pushchair is perfect to put up when out and about shopping, which made my life easier with a five-year-old and baby.
Would you choose this product to win?
I wouldn't choose this pushchair to win a Mother & Baby award. Whilst it was extremely lightweight, it felt a little flimsy and like it would break easily. The quality of the materials did not seem to be high quality and the design didn’t excite me or make me want to use it.
What changes would you make to this product?
The hood did not stay up very well, or fully cover my baby. Luckily, I tested this pushchair in the summer, but I think if I was caught without a rain cover, my baby would have gotten wet. There also needs to be a better basket underneath – it was very small and I couldn’t fit a lot into it.

This is very easy to open and fold, but I didn’t manage to do it with one hand. Because it’s so light, it’s ideal if you’re lifting it in and out of the car a lot, and it fits in the boot really easily. The shopping basket is a good size, but it doesn’t take much in terms of weight – a box of laundry powder made it give a squeak from the added strain!

The cheapest we tested, but you’d never guess – it looks so good! It’s easy to push, foldable with one hand, and fits in my small car boot. The shopping basket is easily accessible and big enough to hold my backpack. There’s lots of leg room, but Albert’s very tall, so the seat isn’t upright enough for him to sit comfortably. It’s brilliant value, but better for younger babies.

This was my favourite of all the pushchairs we tested. It's really lightweight – I was able to carry it up an escalator while holding Nathaniel’s hand at the same time. It’s quick and easy to open and fold, and really manoeuvrable – I can push it with one hand. It’s quite long when folded, but I like the high seat position, which means my son doesn’t feel too low the ground.
