A budget option that aims to take you from busy streets to country lanes.

The Hauk Viper has large wheels with shock-absorbing suspension – although they are moulded plastic, not air-filled.

The front wheel both swivels and locks so it should glide easily round pavements and shops, and run over rougher ground.

A five-point harness secures your baby and you can use it from birth, either by adjusting the back rest to lie flat or by using a car seat or infant carrier (not included in the price).

The canopy features window panels which is a nice touch for older children, and the price includes a raincover. It features a large, useful basket.

Our testers said this was light, narrow, and easy to push and steer with one hand, while still offering comfort. Quite easy to store and transfer between the house and the car. The seat could be difficult to adjust and was a bit fiddly however.
