It has a versatile and comfortable seat unit that can be forward or rear-facing, and pushes smoothly over all terrains, too. It lies completely flat in pram mode, so can be used from birth, then transforms into a pushchair for the toddler years.
You can add a proper carrycot, but the lie-flat mode is so good you don’t really need one. It’s light to push and really simple to collapse and change modes, although when the carrycot is on you have to remove the seat before folding. Our testers found the Cosmopolitan hard to find fault with saying it was super easy and intuitive to use. It’s a lovely looking model that does the job excellently and is well worth the hefty price tag.
Buy car seat adaptors separately – they cost £29 – and you can transform it into a travel system for the first year.
